Perhaps the people that post care because it won't get the needed attention to their message, I'm not going to a casual BBB thread to find a trading partner.

maybe they want to try to get on a casual team next season or any team for that matter.. So let them do what they want. why do you care if someone comes on here looking for a team? Seriously if you do you need to get a life.

WOW. I knew GLB had a large amount of 'kids' playing, but I have to say that I am disappointed that so many children are playing. Last I saw, there was not a post in the casual league forum from administration that said that you cannot post threads looking for a team here. This is simply a casual league forum, if you want to post your player to help you find a team, go for it. Simply ignore all the children that want to rant and rave about a post they do not like.

OK. Point taken. It does amuse me, however, that there is such an uproar about a player looking for a team in this forum, but it's OK to post a thread asking to be put on a team as a GM, or asking over and over if they will get team if they are ? number on the list. It doesn't hurt the forum at all to have players looking for teams posting in here. I just don't understand why people have such a hard time with this. It isn't really that big a deal. The thing to remember is that this is a game, not real life. If a thread posted in the wrong forum pisses you off that much, i feel sorry for you. Again, this is just a game.

Understood. And to a point I agree. There are issues with the moderation at times. It could be more consistent. But on the other hand with the number of users there are compared to mods, that is kind of understandable. If there were many more, we could have them deleted quickly. I think that it is harmless as well. But then again if the whole forum became overrun with those threads, and you could not read the ones YOU wanted to because of that, there would be another issue at hand. Personally I think the separate forum for those posts is a good thing so we can discuss more important things at hand.

I agree that if it was over run with those posts, it would be annoying, but there are many more posts about whether or not they will get a team than there are of a player looking for a team.

There's kind of a black hole from Lvls 14-16 that can't get into Lvl 13 leagues and are too small for Lvl 21 cap leagues, so this is the only place for those people. I'm not completely against people posting ONE thread to ad their players as long as they don't bump it.

I don't understand what the issue with posting player ads on the casual league pages is. It is flooded with spamming from this mybrute garbage and yet no one cares about that, but if a player posts an ad we get 10 + "wrong forum" comments almost immediately. Getting players signed and traded is part of the game, posting mybrute is not. Not to mention posting player ads is on casual league pages is not hurting anyone and hardly taking up space that used for something else. I have never seen anything important or useful ever get posted on casual league pages. Player ads seems to be the only thing even remotely important or related to GLB.
