With the 1st Round over and done with, only 4 teams still remain in the hunt for the Championship.

I will only be doing Eastern Conference because I know the competition better than the West.

2nd Round Matchups:

#1Crib Midgets(15-1) vs. #4Ptacoma Pterodactyls(14-2) - After a 1st round blowout of the Wildcats the Midgets look to continue their dominance of opponents, but the only team to beat them in the regular season stands in their way. The Midgets hit the ground running in the game against the Wildcats, rushing for 655.5 yards on 73 attempts while only throwing for 99 yards on 8 attempts. The Wildcats had no answer for Crib's rushing attack. The Crib also held the Wildcats to -10 rushing yards on 28 attempts. Pracoma will have a tough time containing the rush of Crib, while trying to fend off their defense. Ptacoma themeselves had a great rushing day while only throwing it 10 times. The Ptacoma offense took it to one of the best defense's in the league while on defense containing the rush of Fayetteville. Both teams are similar, both rush it about 90-95% of the time, while throwing as little as possible. Both also have very good defenses, which should make this game interesting. The last time these two played the deciding factor in the game was Ptacoma QB Juice Jaxon, if he can repeat that same outcome then Ptacoma will come out on top. I feel though that Crib is looking to get some revenge and will contain, Juice and the rushing attack of Ptacoma. This is probably the toughest, and best game in the playoffs so far. I see it coming down to the wire, but I have Crib moving on.

#2New York Jaguars(14-2) vs. #3Boston Pee Wee Party(14-2) - The Jaguars came out a slightly more even than usual against opponents, rushing it 53 times and throwing it 23 times. As usuall the leagues leading rusher took control of the game, stacking up 207.5 yards. The passing game didn't fair too well, only completing 6 passes out of 23. The Pee Wee Party also did well in their game beating the Longhorns. The Party also ran it about 95% of the time, rushing 60 times and only throwing 4 times. Even though the Longhorns stacked up more total net yards, the Party got it done when they needed to. These two played earlier in the season when the Party ran it over the Jags, putting up 365 yards. The deciding factor(s) in last times game was Boston's HB Andrew Three-Thousand and their LB Duke of Dorchester. If the Party's running game get's going then they will be hard to stop, the same with the Jags rushing game. Both are run oriented and both have great defenses with their own strong points. This will also be a good game, but not as good as the Ptacoma/Crib game. I see a similar outcome like the last time these two played, but a much closer game. I still have the Pee Wee Party going through to face the Crib for the division championship.

Record: 6-0

Eastern Conference Championship prediction will be posted soon, keep an eye out for it!

These are meant to be in fun, nothing personal against any players or teams. These are my opinions, if you disagree or agree that's your choice. I would like to hear your thoughts about the matchups and who will advance.

Good luck to all who are left in the playoffs!

Thanks

No surprises in the first round of the East or West imo. Crib will advance to play Boston, with Crib being the Conference Champs.

The West is going to be interesting... The Wolverines have the best Pee Wee defense in either conference and their going up against the #1 or #2 offense in the Conference. I am fairly confident that Dharma can advance if they fix their passing game (under 40% last game compared to 50-60% in the previous seven). Both of the teams in the other bracket have beaten Dharma this season, so the conference championships will be a little bit dicey for them. I think Crib becomes the ultimate champion in Pee Wee #10. Their offensive and defensive prowess will shutdown anything the crossover sends imo.

Just because Crib beat us in the regular season doesn't mean they will again in the postseason. They might, but who knows.

I couldn't think of a reason why not... Ptacoma beat them in the regular season... But this has to be the biggest game in the whole playoffs by far

I just see Crib finding a way to stop Ptacoma....that's just me though....it is the best game though.

I'm expecting a better game between Crib and Ptacoma then for the Conference Championship. I believe that whoever wins this game will go all the way to the league finals.

Nice, I'm just glad that we don't have to play either you or Ptacoma....but then again the Jags are a very good team...who can't be underestimated.

Yeah all the playoff games now need to be closely gameplanned for. The slightest advantage in tactics/gameplanning will allow a team to win.

Luckily, we're more then just slowbuilders at this point. We've got a few things up our sleeves yet to be utilized. I have a feeling we'll need to use it all to win this game though. Good luck.
