#1 (12-1) Short Bus WIndow Lickers: How long can they hold the #1 spot having to face Peru and Houston next. The Houston game will be an I10 Rivalry as Short Bus home base is in San Antonio Texas. Game of the week here as both teams are rolling. Short Bus has won 11 straight, and Peru has won 8 straight. Peru beat Short Bus last season in the season final 28-17. Shortbus then lost to Houston in the 1st round.
** Next game vs Peru, Win 49-42

#2 (11-2) Peru Piranha's: See above, Made it to the championship last season wich resulted in a loss to Chicos. Peru only lost 1 game last season before the championship loss and also beat Short Bus in their only meeting 28-17. Both teams are playing with fire and should be a great game by both clubs. Last team with the ball wins here. Even with a loss Peru should still hold the #2 spot. With a win will secure a #1 spot.
** Next game vs Short Bus, Lose 42-49

#3 (10-3) Houston showed they are a top 3 team with a convincing win over Sacremento. The loss to Peru will haunt them from a #1 seed. Houston can move up to #2 with a win next week over Short Bus. Houston still has 2 freebies to play so they should finish no worse than 3rd overall. Houston beat Montgomery last season 34-21.
** Next game vs Montgomery, Win 90-0

#4 (10-3) Sacremento VIKINGS Pee Wees: How the mighty have fallen. Once held the top spot fort many weeks but with key losses to Peru and Houston, they seem to be better than the 4 bottom playoff teams but not as good as the top teams although they do hold the win over #1 Short Bus. They should finish the season with a 3 game win streak. Lost last season to SF Multis 0-3
** Next game vs SF Multis, Win 38-0

#5 (9-4) Detroit's Perfect Season 0 - 16: Should continue their winning streak as they face 3 easy teams and should end up with the 4th spot IMO. Had a nice win a couple of games ago vs Washington and also has beaten Peru on its plate. Detroit lost to Steel City last season 7-21. Detroit could be a sleeper team in the playoffs.
** Next game vs Steel City, Win 38-21

#6 (9-4) Spider Pigs: Nice win vs Washington 28-22. Still lacks that leap to be a real contender. Shows they can score on the best teams in the league but havn't stopped them from doubling up on points scored vs points allowed against the best teams. Should still finish strong with 3 wins. Lost last season to Chicago 14-56
** Next game vs Chicago, Win 56-14

#7 (8-5) Washington Pride: Lost 2 in a row but still will end up in the playoffs though baring a miracle won't survive the first round. Still has 2 tough games on the schedule in Peru and LOS. Last season team beat Edmonton 70-7
** Next game vs Edmonton, Win 66-0

#8 (7-6) Littleborough Orange Slices: Bareling holding onto the playoff spot with their latest loss to Shortbus. Team still has a huge game vs Washington and a bigger game vs Chicago that could decide if they make the playoffs or not. Last season LOS routed Bruma 45-7
** Next game Bruma, Win 88-7

Very close to sneaking into the playoffs:
(6-7 Chicago)
(6-7) Steel City

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Western Conference
#1 (13-0) Chico's Bail Bonds Bears: They're no loldots but they are very good. Just ask Darkus how good they are. They continue to roll and have the fallen Gits and CSI on the schedule so could easily go 16-0. First meeting for Lubbock and Chicos.
** Next game vs Lubbock, Win 82-14

#2 (12-1) Darkus Blacks: Team has rebounded strong since their lone loss. I could see them pulling the upset in the playoffs over Chicos. Still has a tough game vs the Flames. They continue to roll this weak vs an 0-13 team.
** Next game vs Byron Bay Blowfish, Win 110-0

#3 (11-2) Baltimore Bullets: Still a solid team and still has to face #4 Orange Flames but definitely a top 4 team. Just beat two good teams in the Evil Gits and CSI so I see them having no problem vs Nigeria. Last season they lost to Nigeria, 38-10
** Next game vs Nigeria, Win 38-28

#4 (11-2) Orange Flames: Still has to face 3 tough teams but it will be hard for them to drop with a 3 game edge over 5th place team. Currently serving a 4 game win streak. Last season beat Salem 76-7
** Next game vs Salem, Win 45-14

#5 (9-4) Nigeria Cheetahs: Beat the Flames but lost ugly last game to Darkus 7-59. Has a long way to go to prove they can play with the best. Next game will be tough vs Baltimore as well. Beat Baltimore last season 38-10
** Next game vs Baltimore, Lose 28-38

#6 (9-4) The Evil Gits: Barely holding onto the 6th seed as they have lost their last 3 games in ugly fashion. Still has to play Chicos but does have two freebies.
** Next game vs Dallas, Win 56-10

#7 (8-5) salem sundevils: Could od made a statement by beating Nigeria but lost to them in a close game. Hasn't really beaten any solid playoff teams except Sacremento in the East.
** Next game vs Orange Flames, Lose 14-45

#8 (7-6) Las Vegas CSI's: In danger of losing a playoff spot and still has 2 tough teams in upcoming Copmpton and Chicos left to play. Will need to be Compton and the scrub team to stay in the playoff hunt.
** Next game vs Compton, (upset special, lose 21-28)

Looking in
Compton Crips 6-7-0 W3
Central Wildcats 6-7-0 L1

I agree. This is the one league where I feel in touch with the status of the whole league. If there were no write up, how much less fun would this be. It's like seeing your team being written up in the paper!

Anyway, thanks for the time LE!

Good luck Decon, I don't drink or I'd take you up on your offer. Crazy we have 3 teams in this region of the state of Texas. Why Peru though? Win or lose you win since your heading to Honolulu, Man I would love to live in Hawaii!
