Naturally I think very highly of my team, but I am trying to be unbiased. There is no formula here, these are my own subjective rankings, but I will do my best to take wins, points, and strength of schedule into account. I am only going to rank the top 8, otherwise it will take too much of my time.

Western Conference
1) Chico's Bail Bond Bears 4-0

They are the defending champions and have shown no weaknesses. They're coming off a strong victory over a solid Orange Flames team. The target is on their back.

2) Darkus Blacks 4-0

Darkus Blacks have done everything anyone could ask of them and more. They are statistically the most impressive team in the league. However, they do not have a signature win like the Chico's, and let's face it, an undefeated defending champ should always be #1.

3) The Evil Gits 4-0

The Evil Gits are a defensive powerhouse, giving up only 3 points on the season. If they can find the offensive firepower to match their defensive prowess, they may end this season at the top. Until then, the Bail Bond Bears and the Blacks are head and shoulders above the rest. The Gits are coming off a solid win over a previously undefeated CSIs.

4) Baltimore Bullets 4-0

Like the Darkus Blacks, the Baltimore Bullets got a nice opening schedule. Unlike the Darkus Blacks, they have been winning modestly. Their victory over a trashtalking salem sundevils team counts for something, but their real chance to prove themselves is tomorrow when they face the Darkus Blacks.

5) Orange Flames 3-1

The Orange Flames haven't really beaten anybody yet, so their most impressive game was a loss to Chicos where they managed to hang in for a respectable 20-41 loss. That's especially impressive when you realize the most points Chicos had given up to that point was 7. We'll learn more about the Flames in weeks 7 and 8 when they face the Gits and the CSIs in consecutive games.

6) Las Vegas CSIs 3-1

The CSIs had won their first 3 games by a combined score of 135-0 and looked to be one of the most dominant teams in the league, but last week they tripped up against the Evil Gits, getting shut out in a 0-19 loss. The rollercoaster continues next week for the CSIs as they host a winless Cleveland Killers squad. They may hit triple digits folks.

7) Nigeria Cheetahs 2-2

Nigeria may only be 2-2 but they've lost to two very tough teams. Unfortunately they're likely to freefall, as they have the Evil Gits and the CSIs next. If they can somehow split, they'll be in good shape.

8) salem sundevils 2-2

The sundevils wanted a playoff matchup with the Darkus Blacks, and they may get their wish. No, obviously it's way too early to say anything like that, but it is amusing that they slot in here at #8. The sundevils had the misfortune of two very tough games in their first four, but should right the ship tomorrow against the Compton Crips.

Eastern Conference
1) Springfield Spider-Pigs 4-0

Not only are they the only undefeated team, but they have a head-to-head win over a top 5 team in Detroit's. This one is pretty much a gimme.

2) Detroit's Perfect Season 0-16 3-1

To be honest, spots 2-4 were really difficult to separate, as they all lost to terrific teams. The only difference was that Detroit also has a great quality win over a 3-1 Orange Slices squad. They play the Peru Piranhas tomorrow in a game that is certain to determine next week's #2.

3) Houston Headhunters 3-1

The Houston Headhunters and the Peru Piranhas have virtually identical resumes. They do have two common opponents though, and Houston beat both Chicago and Steel City by a larger margin. So they squeek into the #3 spot by the narrowest of margins.

4) Peru Piranhas 3-1

Peru will undoubtedly feel shafted at #4, as their only loss was to an undefeated Western Squad; but redemption is at hand: They play Detroit's Perfect Season 0-16 tomorrow, and a win will certainly vault them to #2.

5) Littleborough Orange Slices 3-1

The Orange Flames took this slot in the West, the Orange Slices take it in the East. The Orange slices have no quality wins and a not-too-close loss to Detroit's Perfect 0-16 Season. On the other hand, they get a shot at #1 Springfield Spider-Pigs and a chance to vault up the rankings tomorrow. Go for the glory!

6) Sacramento VIKINGS Pee Wees 3-1

Sacramento's only loss came in week 1 to the West's #8 salem sundevils. Does that mean the West is deeper? Perhaps; or that Sacramento didn't quite have its act together yet. After all, they did knock off the infamous Short Bus Window Lickers the following weak, and haven't shown much in the way of vulnerability ever since.

7) Short Bus Window Lickers 3-1

Way too much bad news for LordEvil here. With no quality wins to date, a head to head loss to Sacramento pretty much ensures you're below them this early in the season. And your next few games don't offer much chance for redemption. It's a tough place to be in, not much you can do but keep winning big and hope someone beats the Vikings so they don't continue to be your glass ceiling.

8) Washington Pride 2-2

The Washington Pride have lost to the #3 and #6 teams, and have crushed two terrible teams. We don't know much about them yet, but will find out when they match up with the Short Bus Window Lickers in week 6.

Haha 7th. I don't mind being the underdog. It could get ugly for a few teams above us
Also we did beat two of the better teams in the west and an undefeated Denver team in a scrimmage. We would have tied or. Beat the peewee snow but we shouldn't of went for a fg in a game like that. Lesson learned. Our only loss came when I was in San Diego on a 3 day road trip

I should note that I didn't look at scrims at all. That's a fair point LordEvil.
