Of course there is a limit to how deep your roster should go. Let's see how successful the dots would be if they had three QBs in their depth chart. Oh and two of them have to be pocket passers. :-)

It's called good planning - we put together our team knowing exactly before hand what we were going to do and how we were going to do it and created players accordingly.

fwiw our QB only had 6 carries last game - there's more to the lol dots than that. I think you all will score though - your RB's are solid. I just don't think you'll out score us. You definitely look better than last season though and if you beat us I'll gladly come in here and eat some crow.

The reason the QB rush works so well is because the run up the gut and the screen pass are so dangerous. It is impossible to call a play that can stop all three. Then later in the season when the passing game starts to work, you also need to factor that into your defense. On first down I have 20 different plays that can be called, all of them attacking at different parts of the field from different directions and formations. If you happen to call the right play to stop me on first down (1 in 4 chance), you still have to stop me on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th down.
People just recognize the QB rush as so dangerous because people rarely gameplan around it... and if you spend to much time gameplanning against the QB rush, they will destroy you with the pass and the HB rush instead. Pee Wee is about the offense having way more weapons at their disposal than the defense. If you try and stop my strong HB by creating a bunch of strong tacklers, my speedy HB, WR, and QB will run past everyone. If you build a super speedy defense, my power backs will continue to break 30 tackles a game and get first downs on you. And then when you are so tired from trying to break through the blocks, my QB comes of the sidelines and breaks a 40 yarder.
You cannot stop me, you can only hope to slow me down and keep up with me.
