Oh wait, you DO have depth but yet need to play 20 more plays per game than Ryan. Can't get off the field?

Lets compare apples to apples then. 665 plays each. Matthews (stat/974)*665

Matthews:
Tackles: 120
Sacks: 13
Int: 1
FF: 3
PD: 6

Ryan:
Tackles: 56
Sacks: 5
Int: 1
FF: 0
PD: 4

Now what? Career?

? So maybe you play more pass oriented teams and the ROLB gets yanked? I should be faulted because your style of defense is different? Only thing comparable are raw stats. PM me if you want to discuss farther. I don't want to piss on the OP's thread as he did a hellva job imo.

Oh and BTW, I admire you for sticking up for your player. Class act.

Actually, I decided to look at some numbers:

Highest ranked team with a player over 100 tackles in the West: Oklahoma City

Eastern Teams: Washington Bullets and Ken Cote, but 79 of those came against gut jobs.
--Flyin Elvis just barely hit the 100 mark, and with all their missed tackles it seems he had to do a lot of cleaning up.
--Rage and Matthews.

Conclusion: More tackles for one player = worse team

(and btw, you do have a hell of a LB, I think it would be interesting to see his stats on a team like Green Bay / Cincinatti)

Updated for Season 8 now. Surprisingly, not a whole lot of records broken this season. A lot of new entries for pancakes and rushing attempts (no surprise).

sigh, if not for Kentucky, Danny Hughes would be the league champion of Pancakes, and not sledge's 5 levels higher behemoth (a monster in his own right).

Damn Bort, leaving that wasted team there.

The league records don't show before Season 2. There's no way in hell I'm going to try and track down everyone that played in S1 either.
