I like this idea, simply because most of the better GLB teams I've seen are built like track teams and track teams always suffer in adverse conditions.

I like it i would also add Reigons to the game where you get to pick where your team plays when you buy it. You can pick generic reigons like the south (hot) the desert (hottest and driest), the mountains (hard to breath, snowiest and cold) the Midwest (balanced), and the North (coldest, and snow). Then of course add the stuff of the OP.
I think it should be implemented because it reduces cookie cutter builds or alternatively they could do continental weather but i think it'd be more interesting with "generic" environments because it gives you more choice and if it was continental all fields in a given league would be the same

i would agree if

1. stadium options were implemented (domes, types of grass ect
2. each team gets to decide their region and weather type
3. there is a greater effect for playing outside of your normal area (colts moving from their dome to a snowy day in Green Bay for example)

dont know if it was mentioned but what about including dome and open stadiums (could be an extra cost to give your stadium a dome) and to combat some of these maybe a new piece of equipment to go in the stores and add a new spot on the eq for hand warmer, or towel, or something like that
