Credit where credit's due, that was funny. I like what you guys have done with the old hockey logo, too. Here's to us beating--er, "playing" you in the final.

Cute. Your guard should've waited 'til the playoffs to boost, but have fun pancaking the patient people before it matters.

How does it make sense to wait to boost until the playoffs? What if your team misses the playoffs because their players weren't properly levelled up? Where's the football IQ in that? Just like in real football doesn't every game matter?

It takes longer to level up the higher to go, so waiting until the playoffs to boost gives you maximum bang for your buck. Personally, I don't like that strategy, but hey, it's not my money.

If your players are still high level enough to be competitive and you have a sound game plan for every match, you probably will make the playoffs. After all, half the league makes the playoffs, then boosting just before the playoffs gives you a big advantage over other teams that have boosted early and can't boost until next season. They maximized their training and game XPs all season long.

Of course, if your players are not high enough to be really competitive from the get-go, then boosting early is a good idea to give you a chance to make the playoffs and hope from there that aything can happen.

It's what we had to do to be competitive this season. Boosting late would be nice but wasn't possible...

If you figure the difference between 3 levels is an average of about 5 XP per off-day, levelling up at the beginning of the season over 32 days of the regular season will cost you 160 XP over the course of a season. It's not a lot, but then you factor in the XP you get per play you are on the field, and it adds up. I figure it totals about half a level over the course of a season. So if your team has the talent to wait, it's in the best long-range interest of your player and all the players on the team to wait as long as possible. Those 4 or 5 XP seem insignificant, but the add up over the life of your player.

The XP difference is larger for lower levels and strarts getting smaller the higher you go. The biggest factor is that you get all of the extra "training" points to put into attributes for maximum effect at lower levels, because your boosting hasn't raised your attributes to a point where you get .19 per day for a high stat. If you haven't boosted that stat yet (by 3 levels let's say) then your daily benefit might be .33 versus the .19 (depending on how many SPs you put into that particular attribute.

Canberra Titans, still sore about the 6-3 loss to the Bandits, take it out on the Tasmanian Devils...60-0, ouch!

Allowing only 42.5 total yards along the way...

Titans starting O-line had 93 pancakes??? Including 35 by the starting LG?

It could have been worse, but we pulled all of our starters in the third...
