We are proud to present the First Annual Casual Leagues Tournament of Champions.

Any Casual Team that has won a championship, either Conference or League, is eligible to participate. Preference will be given in descending order from the highest caps, for season 10 this would be 38>34>32>31 and so on down to the previous seasons cap 16 champions with a cap of 24 now.

This should not be an issue, however, a caveat is if you have inherited a team with a previous championship, and that squad is no longer intact, just the trophy on the profile page, then you will not be considered for entry.

This inaugral season, we will be accepting 16 teams for entry, and if there is enough interest, may expand it to include 32 teams. After the initial 16 teams are slotted and seeded from the entries, we will maintain a "standby" list, to see if we can field another full bracket.

The Tournament itself will be seeded by our panel taking into account caps and roster composition. It will be single elimination, once you lose, you're out. Each specific round will have a timeline that the higher seed will be obligated to send the friendly, if this is not sent and/or accepted for the game to be played within the set time period, then the team that failed to meet it's obligation will be a forfeit with their intended opponent moving on.

Note that your first two friendlies of the season are free, each after that cost 25 flex points. Not having flex points to send/accept a friendly is not an excuse and you will be forfeited if you do not meet your deadlines.

Prizes: A Team Profile Trophy as well as MVP trophy will be handed out following the official sanctioning of the tournament and the actual conclusion of the games.

Additionally, the following flex prizes will be awarded:
Champion: 3000 Flex
Runner Up: 1000 Flex
MVP of Championship Game**: 1000 flex

The MVP of the Championship game will be determined by our Senior Panel members in a closed vote.

***Edited to add: This initial season, we may end up accepting non-championship teams, depending on signups/participation, those will be handled case by case basis.

***Second Edit: Unless you are a Championship, League or Conference, entries are now closed to non-champs. We have 32 teams, and of those, only non-champion teams will be replaced at this point.
