Unfortunately, due to real life making time for managing my own team rough, coupled with the GMs being preoccupied, we've decided that it would be in all of our best interest to call it a day over at SFS.

Thanks all for the fun last two seasons, and the best of luck to you all moving forward.

I find this a bad sign for GLB. I really thought you guys were going to be a long term team. It seems like the price of being competitive in time, flex, and GLB money is taking its toll on the good teams. I hope you guys have fun and I enjoyed our games and wish you all the best.

NO!!!!!!!!!!

Sura and Blood Gulch, both of you were great teams, and it's sad to see you go. Good luck with whatever you'll do in the future!

There's a small group of us and we had 3 teams. We couldn't keep all 3 competitive due to the time it takes to plan and what not. So we're down to 2. We still love GLB, but we had to pick one team to move on from.

We left the new owner of SFS with a decent stadium and some solid fan support. It'll be a tough time for them, but they can be competitive by season 6 in my opinion.

That was my hope as well. We didn't leave the team in any kind of financial disarray (by any stretch), and they should have the funds moving forward to remain competitive if they draft well. (In other words; we've just moved on to our other teams, and the Flexville Retirement home - our intent was not to simply 'gut' a team.)

I'm still interested in the game, so I don't think that this is any sort of bad omen for GLB... it's just what Predian said. If anything, having less players and no stress of ownership has renewed my interest in GLB a bit.

Not that owning SFS was difficult as our agents are all friends, and we kept the number of agents down... but time constraints, other players losing interest (thinning out our other teams), and such, made keeping the team competitive (aka fun) unrealistic.

Thanks for the GM kudos as well... and to Predian, j4mz4m0d, Quadra, Buzzkill, SweetDaddy, and the others helped out a great deal scouring the boards for information, signing agents, boosting our revenue, boosting their players regularly, spec'ing wisely, and helping to game plan. I couldn't have asked for an easier, low maintenance group of guys to do that with.

So, thanks.
