This is a simple matter. It's the Experiments, the consummate underdogs, against the powerful, brash Yukon Silent Pwners. As Edmonton has proven, nothing is guaranteed. Most folk believe that they have achieved their goal of promotion, thereby making the championship pointless. So, for both teams , it's no more important than a scrimmage. Just go and play the tam, and go out for ice cream, win or lose.
Well, it shouldn't be that way, you work awfully hard for awfully long, you spend your FP and SP, and endure the name calling and the taunts for the chance to get promoted? That's it? In my book, the loser would have choked, Edmonton's experiment will be a success, regardless, but a victory over Yukon would nail the coffin shut. And, Yukon, who is also quite complacent, would leave Canada A7 being forced to look back on the blotch on their record, the one team they couldn't avenge a loss to in A7. They would not be the best, like they've proclaimed, but second best. For these guys, it should be more than a game....it should be proof that they've truly mastered A7. Complacency is an enemy, just ask the 2007 Patriots. Good luck, guys, and prove to the rest of us who the real kings are, not that you've gone lazy....
