The big game is Saturday. #5 OSU @ #1 USC. Just thought I would see what everyone has to say on it. Ohio St. is coming off a nail-biter against the Bobcats in which Heisman hopeful Chris (Beanie) Wells sat on the sideline. Will Beanie be at 100% gametime? Which QB for State will make the big plays? Will it be the future of Buckeye football in Terrelle Pryor or the old man Todd Boeckman? Mark Sanchez is coming off a huge game. Can the OSU defense stop the Trojan air attack? You don't want to miss this one. It's going to be a good one. I know we have some more Buckeye fans. Any Trojans fans out there? Let's here from you.

If a healthy Wells plays I have to go with my homestate Bucks
37-31 OSU Wins

O-H

I'm gonna go with USC in this one. I understand that Wells didn't play against Ohio but to only score 27 points on them is kinda bad. Ohio's defense isn't USC's defense and you believe that OSU will score 37 points? I'm thinking it'll be more like 28-21 or 28-14 in favor of the Trojans. Don't get me wrong. I'm not a USC nor an OSU fan. I do believe that both teams (when completely healthy) are N.C. type teams but with Wells not being 100% it looks to have a USC lean to it.

USC all the way, they're defense is just plain nasty. Being in LA I even thing that the game won't be close. USC 38-13, something like that. Ohio St isn't as good as they have been the last few years, even though they haven't been able to show it in their NC games. The Big 10 season finishes to soon IMO, and the huge amount of time off has really caused the Buckeyes problems in those games. Not a Buckeye hater or a USC fan, but I don't see this as a great Buckeye team, whereas this could be a great USC team.

OSU is overrated most years and this year is no different. Carrol always has his Trojans ready for the big games. Better coaching, more talent, at home, Wells or no Wells it "Well" make no difference.

USC 34
OSU 14

I agree. I think adjustments need to be made so that all teams in a BCS conference have the same amout of time off.

I think that even if Beanie had been healthy and had played it would still have been a close game. I don't think the Bucks were focused on Ohio and instead were looking ahead to the So. Cal game.

Both of them are overrated IMO but at least USC has team speed. I say USC.

both would get killed by any SEC team basically... that being said I'll say USC...

basically whoever wins this gets an easy road into the Championship game against the best SEC team.

Oh the arrogance of the SEC is unmatched by any other conference.

i wondered how long it would take for the old SEC card to be played lol

"(enter team name) sucks unless they have to play the grueling SEC schedule" blah

Didn't a ranked Tennessee just get beat by an unranked UCLA team. SEC beat USC you better think twice about that statement.

That's just what we need, OU getting blown out in a bowl game. See the last several for them, same with Ohio State.

If an SEC team does go to the Championship game I hope it's Georgia. I can't stand Florida and I hate Tim Dumbo.
