The teams will be split up between EEA#3 and EEA#4 and will be assigned randomly. Alpha teams end up in Alpha and Zeta in Zeta. Average level is current average and should/will change with contract expiration/signing.

Alpha
15. Warsaw Stampede (1-15-0) - Avg Lvl: 21.40

16. Krakow Blitz (0-16-0) - Avg Lvl: 19.94

Zeta
15. British Blitzers (1-15-0) - Avg Lvl: 14.91

16. Flint Tropics (1-15-0) - Avg Lvl: 16.93

For comparison, Minoan Minotaurs, one of the teams that will be promoted from EEA3 has an average level of 18.5

Looks like Alpha is going to get a monster. Just say no to more Warsaw Teams.

In looking at Warsaw Stampede - a level 28 Guard, Punter & TE. It is going to be tough to compete with that.

so are they going to get a cap placed on them as they enter the league? if they were smart they'd just recruit like crazy above the cap right now :o

Basically they should go grab as much level 21+ talent that they can get and dominate next season.

Here is what Bort said on this.

11. What happens to teams that get promoted/demoted to or from a capped league?
-----a. The teams gains or loses the cap, depending on if they are entering or leaving a capped league.

Pretty easy to understand: promoted team loses cap, demoted team gains cap.
-----b. Players on demoted teams that are higher level than the new cap stay on the team. Yes, that means teams might have level 30s on a team that is in a league with a lower cap (like 20). It's as "exploitable" as the 'double boost' (question #5).

<<<playing the devil's advocate

With the way the market is with trying to pick up high level players, it's not going to be as easy as you may think to sign a "bunch" of level 30 players to play for a 1-15 team next season .

On the other side of things, do our lowest teams move down?

Prob not because who would move up to replace them.

We don't have any lower leagues to go down.
As far as players signing with 1-15 teams, you will be surprised how many stat padders are out there licking their chops for a chance to pad their stats.

I have seen it first hand. They don't care about wins or losses - just their little individual player stats. I have no problem releasing those kind of players.

I'll take a team over stat padders any day. I have no question you guys will handle these ones coming down.

Could have been worse, look at this team that got relegated to a 'Sophomore 20-cap' League in South America:

And this team's stadium dropped into EE-A-8 Zeta :
