The match up for the league tittle has played out like most have figured all season. Both teams have dominated their respective conferences. Almost mirror images of one another both teams hang their hats on having the best defense and high powered balanced offenses.

Who would have thought that after each team was bounced early in the playoffs last season that their shameful scrimmage game would be a preview to this years championship game?

I see this game coming down to opportunistic defense(turnovers) and whose QBs can keep their head on straight.

I am not bragging or guaranteeing anything. My prediction is just how I see the game playing out.

I see Indianola walking away as USA#1 champions in season 4. The game should be a tough one and close early on, but Indianola will pull away in the second half and the game will look worse than it is.

Indianola 38-21

I would love to hear what others think about the matchup in a non trash talk sort of way.

they both look even on stats in the playoffs so far , but hammer has more depth , can legends stay strong all game? dunno hammer might just overcome them in the 4th ,
hard to say but i believe it will be a good close game , hard to say who's gonna come out on top .

Interesting you think we dont have depth. We have our squad tuned exactly how we like it for stamina settings. We actually had to release some guys to get down to these numbers. And all of the backups tend to be just as good or close to the starters. Sometimes it is interesting to see what others think about our situation.

The way I see it:

- Comparisons -

Hammer's starters overall>Legends' starters overall
Hammer's backups overall<Legends' backups overall
Depth chart depth is equal
Depth chart strength favors Legends.

Hammer's rushing offense>Legends' rushing defense
Hammer's rushing defense=Legends' rushing offense
Hammer's passing offense<Legends' passing defense
Hammer's passing defense=Legends' passing offense
Hammer's total offense<Legend's total defense
Hammer's total defense=Legend's total offense
Edge goes to Legends

Hammer's return teams<=Legend's return teams
Hammer's kicking team>Legend's kicking team
Edge goes to Hammer

Playoff momentum -
Hammer - beat #8 Oregon by 35, #4 Eleven by 21 & #3 Orlando by 38
Legends - beat #8 Austin by 25, #4 Oklahoma by 26 & #3 H-Town by 11
Edge goes to Hammer

- Prediction -

The way I see it you over estimated your offensive production against a greater defense. I still see you winning but only if Hukton's team screws up their gameplan.

Indianola by 3, 23-20

Go Hammer, Go Hammer, Go
Go Hammer, Go Hammer, Go

Stop! Hammertime!

Interesting. But you have to remember our opponents are not common. So some of the comparisons you have made do not scientifically line up. The depth quality is one of the main factors as to why I believe it will be close early, and not close in the end. by not close I mean 10pts+. Also, I think I have a firm grasp on how the team is built and one thing about ours compared to theirs should give us a decided advantage. I wish I could go into detail, but that would give away some trade secrets and it wouldn't be too intelligent of me to do so at this time.

No science involved as I have earlier stated in a previous forum thread that science is never exact. And because you have not faced common opponents, I see a fairly different view. Some areas that you have not "tested" may have been "tested" by Carolina. But I will sit back and watch

Amazed and just totally in awe that an intelligent conversation can exist in A1.
