Alright, well here it is. Toulouse and Berlin won their conferences in some pretty wild games, and both will be moving up next year. But first, they play one more time to determine the Western Europe AA#1 champ.
2. Toulouse Aviators

2. Berlin Ballers
Matchup: http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=634&team2=664
Last meeting: Never faced
How they got here:
Toulouse's path -
vs. PGL Gamers - W (37-12) http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=131114
vs. Eurotrash Rabid Bats - W (29-26) (OT) http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=136071
vs. Manchester Mob - W (16-7) http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=138142
Berlin's path -
vs. Dublin Dragoons - W (24-14) http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=131118
vs. Dallas Browns - W (34-0) http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=136073
@ Inverness Highlanders - W (10-6) http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=138143
Team Stats (take these with a grain of salt, as they played different competition for a vast majority of the year):
Passing Yards (League Rank): Berlin - 3,633 (11th), Toulouse - 3,154 (19th)
Rushing Yards: Berlin - 3,726 (4th), Toulouse - 3,588 (6th)
Points Scored: Berlin - 656 (3rd), Toulose - 605 (6th)
Passing Yards Allowed: Berlin - 2,659 (2nd), Toulouse - 2,885 (5th)
Rushing Yards Allowed: Berlin - 263 (1st), Toulouse - 631 (3rd)
Points Allowed: Berlin - 148 (1st), Toulouse - 149 (2nd)
I think that last stat will be the main story behind this game. I expect another very low scoring game, with one or two turnovers being the difference. I'd say it's a 50/50 tossup as to who wins.
I think the matchup to watch here is very obvious. Toulouse's William Jennings has been sacked twice in 19 games this year, including 0 in the playoffs. Berlin recorded 117 sacks in the regular season, and has added 26 more in 3 playoff games. If Toulouse slows down Berlin's pass rush, they probably win. If they don't, they could be in trouble.
Congrats to Cedo for correctly calling this matchup from day 1 of the playoffs. I hope he predicts us to win since he seems to be Nostradamus Jr.
How does everyone else see this game winding up?
