Reamstown/NY Strikers - These teams played in Week 1 of the season. In the world of GLB they may as well have played back in the era of leather helmets...lots can and has changed in the game since then and anything they may have picked up on in that matchup likely doesn't apply much if at all anymore. Scouting and game planning will paramount. If a team over-estimates its own abilities or under-estimates their opponents strengths in some way, it will cost them big time. When it comes right down to it both teams are obviously playing great right now, they have to be to make it to this point in the season. I'm going to stick with the Strikers to win another close game and make it to the league finals though. Reamstown is tough and the margin for error is paper-thin, but at the end of the day the Strikers are going to have just enough extra in the tank to take this one.
Putnam/Shriners - these teams played just a few games ago and it came down to the wire. The game was close. Both teams defenses were the story. The Shriners missed a field goal, a mistake that cost them...the Keggers were flawless and picked up the win. This time around it'll likely come around to the team that makes the fewest mistakes or that can capitalized on their opponents misfortunes that wins a close game. I won't predict this one...maybe someone else can, but I will say it is likely to once again be a low-scoring game so if you're wagering...take the under.
