Warrior General Games

So after a long season, it's down to 4. These playoffs have been pretty intense, with great games all around. Some huge upsets already. If you had asked me at the beginning of the playoffs who I thought would have won the league, I would have said Bonn. But that's why they play the games. Now I think it's past the point of upsets, where any of the 4 remaining teams have a legitimate shot at winning it all.


Alpha Championship

The first meeting featured Manchester getting beaten pretty badly, as Toulouse outgained them 441-144 with a 4.4 YPC and solid passing game. However, Manchester also lost to Bonn in the regular season and were outgained in a similar fashion. As they say it's not how you start, but how you finish. This will be a good game.



Zeta Championship

1. Inverness Highlanders
vs.
2. Berlin Ballers

The previous meeting was pretty much as close as a game could be, with Inverness winning the coin toss in OT and wasting no time in getting a field goal to win it. Berlin held a 13-0 lead in a hard hitting defensive matchup that Inverness fought back and managed to take. While Berlin and Inverness finished #1 and 2 in offense respectively, their defenses are even better, and this should be a low scoring game. Both teams had 3 INTs the first time around. Whoever minimizes the turnovers will probably be the team who advances.


These games should both be awesome and go down to the wire. I'm excited for both. I think all 4 teams are worthy of advancing, but only 2 will. Who do you guys think will face off in the league championship?

Toulouse over Berlin. Just my thoughts, all four teams are capable of winning the championship. Too bad all four couldn't move on next season, so we don't have to see any of them in season 5 !

I think it's awesome that this league is not dominated by only 1 or two teams. Any 4 of these can stand up to any of the others, and there are more teams in AA#1 we can say the same about.

I doubted Inverness once before, but I'm not sure I learned my lesson. I say Berlin/Toulouse.

Selfishly, I'm hoping it is Berlin in the finals because I don't want to have to think about blocking Magnus again for a very long time.

It's gonna be a crazy game. I think we have a good gameplan for it, but we'll see. Low scoring games like this can always swing on one tipped ball, untimely fumble, missed block, etc.

I can handle losing this game in any fashion as long as it's not on yet another fumble returned for a TD when we receive a punt. I've seen enough of those for one lifetime this season. I saw a fair catch in our last game (I think it was our game, I've watched a lot of games recently) and wish we could just do that every time.

I think this game will be one i will watch entirely.

Berlin-Inverness

i will be locking myself in a closet for a week now crying. GG Berlin, there is no stopping your DEs. Figure you will have an upper hand next season as you guys start to get 100 sacks per game there is nothing anyone can do against it.
