After a great performance (by my standards) in round 1 (4-4). I am ready to move on to Round 2.
Western Conference
Hood vs Thunder Bay - This was not a close game the first time these teams faced. But that was in week 2 and all the teams are completely different then week 2. Hood defending champs, 15-1, nothing else needs to be said. Thunder Bay will make it closer than last time but Hood's chance to repeat stays alive. (19-13 Hood)
Anti-Mod vs Ft Richardson - These teams met in week 12 with Anti winning 20-10. I would love to pick Ft Richardson here. But I think Anti-mods have too much. Nice upset in the 1st round but Anti-mods will be ready. (24 - 14 Anti-Mods)
Very good conference match up with Hood vs Anti-Mods. I will have my popcorn ready for that one.
Eastern Conference
Bacon vs Yaks - These 2 had a close game early in the season. The Yaks completely turned around their season after 3-game losing streak early in the season. Bacon 16-0 enough said. I think luck will turn a cold shoulder on Bacon and Yaks will catch some breaks. (17 - 16 Yaks)
Medicine Hat vs Prince Edward - Medicine Hat took this one late in the season 30 - 21. However, it is hard to beat the same team twice in the same year (just ask Saskatoon...He He....sorry I had to take a shot Nectur
). I think Prince Edwards defense has a better showing than the regular season but will it be enough? It is. (21 - 17 Prince Edward)
Conference game Yaks vs Prince Edward. Winner is served up to the Western Conference powerehouse....Ha Ha
