Well all the higher seeds with the exception of Birmingham moved on in round 1, but now we reach a round where really any of the games could go either way.

The two Alpha games are interesting because they feature 4 outstanding teams, and the games they previously played were very close and could've gone either way. The Zeta games are interesting because they feature the two Zeta teams who got promoted, got blown out in their first meetings, and then both have made huge runs to end their seasons. Now for both of them will be the test to see how far each have come.

What are everyone's thoughts/predictions on these games?

Clearly, We think the Toulouse/Eurotrash game is HUGE.

There was a lot of talk about Zeta tiers, etc and a lot of it I agreed with... but that was just Vorspiel.

In Alpha, I'd say Bonn, Euro and Toulouse are the class (better teams), not that the other teams have no class, but you know what I mean, of the division. Yeah, that's right Mob, I think you slipped a bit this season and I know that Armagh slipped a LOT (I was hoping to play Armagh in round 1). West Country was our least desirable opponent today of the three we could have played.

It will be a big one. Last game they took us into over time with a 50 yard FG, and then kicked another 50 yard FG for the win in OT. It was a pretty amazing comeback. Always an interesting match up.

True, it's always a war between those three in Alpha, and I've thought about a playoff rematch against Bonn ever since our Week 1 loss.

I think the Eurotrash/Toulouse matchup has a little more rivalry because Eurotrash entered the Season 3 playoffs undefeated, and Toulouse went into their stadium and ended the win streak. And like tedtinker said, the matchup in Season 4 was an OT victory for Toulouse. I imagine the Rabid Bats will be ready to play!

Toulouse over the Stallions in the Final. Pretty bold, but I believe the Stallions found something and no one has seemes to stop them in a long time! The Rippers ended on a bad note this season, we dropped the soap in our playoff game!! Nice job Manchester, the game started bad and I never felt like we were in the game.

Yes, but I like the way we all handle it. I am happy that this forum is spamed with kindergarden trashtalk and stupid things like that. It is a funny and interesting kind of communication, thank you all for that.

After what I have to deal with in my other divsion I have to agree with you. I like predictions and opinions but there is really no need to get to personal....I do laugh at how different it is over here. I think it is good but the occasional mix up with others can make it fun...Thankfully there aren't really any idiots over here....

and in Zeta some great perfomances as well. Stalions keeping inverness to 10 points. was a battle and a half.

Same goes back to you guys. You were a little bit outmatched level wise but you had a good gameplan, you defended the run real well. If you keep it up you'll be right up there next season.

Wow, what a day in Alpha. As always, it was a great game against Eurotrash. When watching the game I didn't notice the missed XP, and thought we had lost! Can't believer we went to overtime again.

And Manchester with the upset! Way to prove you need to be mentioned with the elite teams also.
