Another WEAA#3 playoff.....another Knosso/Black Watch tilt.


Regular season is fun...but the playoffs are what these teams really want to win.

Some brief history:

Season 2:

Game 7: Knossos 26 - 16, Knossos held BW to 32 rushing yards and BW didn't socre a TD till under 3 minutes in the 4th qtr. Black Watch went on a 9 game winning streak after this loss and met Knossos in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Playoff round 1: Black Watch 6 - 3, what a game this was. Nobody scored in the 2nd half and the kickers were the only scoring offense. Black Watch held Knossos to 208 tota yards. the rivalry officially started here....

Season 3

Game 10: Black Watch 29 - 10: What was a much anticipated rematch from the playoffs was anything but as Black Watch started strong and never was really challenged. Black Watch rushed for 189 yards against a very tough Knossos run defense and got a bit comfortable after this game.....a bit too comfortable....

Playoff round 1 - Knossos 13 - 10. Black Watch though they could do what they wanted after the regular season game, but Knossos was prepared for revenge. And delivered their own 3 point defeat to exit Black Watch from the playoffs. A FG with under 2 minutes sealed the victory for Knossos and another playoff classic was etched into the minds of knossos and Black Watch players.

Season 4

Game 13: Knossos 36 - 10...ouch, not even close, 371 yards of offense and 5 turnovers by BW....this one hurt and resulted in removal of all hookers and kegerators from the lockerroom.

Playoff round 2:

Well here we are again....The Playoffs....Knossos vs. Black Watch. Knossos comes in as the #1 seed while Black Watch relishes its role as the underdog. One thing is for sure...men will die on that field. The rivalry lives on....

Great synopsis. Really enjoy our rivalry with you guys and was excited that we get to meet yet again in the the playoffs. I expect another great game, nothing like the game this regular season where the ball just seemed to bounce our way.

As always Knossos, we gameplan harder and strategize more against you than anyone else. You have all our respect.

Wow. I don't even know what to say other than great game. You guys obviously came out prepared and hungry. Total yards 500+ to 68....damn

For us to shut out what I we consider to be the most challenging and well rounded team in the conference is a little bit more than preparation. At times, the ball was definitely bouncing our way. Congrats on one hell of season bro... cheers
