This is an honest question for everyone.

Did your team or player for that matter do as well as you thought?

I am absolutely honest, I didn't think the Horde would do as well as we have. We have a great group of players on the Horde, and I attribute it to the following:
1) Eaglesfan20 for his great offensive tactics
2) Syrk08 with his masterful defensive tactics
3) The players, who are active and attentive to the changes of the two above....

As for my players...
Magnum Airwalker - he has 1009 yards...with a 15.1 yard average
Stevie McRun - after I made significant changes to his player build he has blossomed to 948.5 yards with a 6.8 yards per carry average

i really think my team underperformed. after last year with our only losses to psk and aa then beating aa in the playoffs and losing to psk the eventual champion. then coming in and losing 4 really wasn't what i thought would happen, i was think 1 loss to aa then take redemption in the playoffs again.

Remember, doesn't matter, as long as you make the playoffs, and win from that point on.

the Horde's offense greatly exceeded my expectations for this season, i was extremely surprised by how well my tactics seemed to work game in and game out no matter the strength of the opposing defense
related to great help from some excellent players

I had no idea that the Swarm would be this successful. I saw us as a top-6 team for sure, but it was something else to see us running neck-and-neck with Algeria midway through the season and then beating them pretty convincingly.

We upset 4-seed AA and 1-seed PSK in the playoffs two seasons ago, but last season we were only the 8-seed. reymets10 really committed to the team over the offseason, and the builds of several key starters really blossomed this season. Also our offensive line does a great job of blocking for an absolute beast of a running back.

Haha.. jobs.

I expect Zach Horsefields to have an illustrious GLB career in which his charm and boyish good looks land him a spot on Dancing with the Stars. This causes a rift with him and the Hustler's until they find out that he's been laundering dirty money through his connects in the Hong Kong TV bizz. When it comes to profit, thats one language all Hustler's understand.

Winning a playoff game against a tough BBD group who took us down a peg in week 15 certainly has me riding high. I feel we've done a pretty good job staying competitive with the top tier teams all season long, so have exceeded expectations in that regard. Not over yet, I have high hopes for this season still

Personally my tight end has had a pretty productive season for XX, played my part for an offense that has been much improved over last season.

I feel we underachieved this season. We were gutted 2 seasons ago, went 3-13 then 7-9 last year. Was really selling the fact that we'd make the playoffs this year to the FA's we were trying to sign, based on the fact went made a big leap from 3-13 to 7-9. I feel bad we fell well short of our goal.

Horsefields will take this as a personal challenge to shut him down.

with the Centers only main stat being Pancake it in no way explains how well mine played for the Hustlers this season. But it wasn't just mine but our whole OL together as a team has just been absolutely insane. Sack's and Hurry's on our QB this season were obsolete. Great job by the entire OL for HKH, don't let it stop now!

I don't have any expectations for my individual players. However, as a team, the Blue Demons met my expectations in the regular season of locking up a home playoff game, but fell short of post season expectations by losing in the first round. (again Fantastic defensive effort XX.)

When I first looked at the season line-up, and got my GM's opinions (kudos to Tautology, Khunkwai, Hanz - I'm blessed with some very brainy gamers in Garuda management), I figured that after a 9th place finish in our first season, that anything less than a playoff spot would have to be considered a failure.

Most likely I figured we'd finish either 7th or 8th, 6th if we were lucky. But, I also realized that ideally, for our long-term prosperity, we needed to secure a home playoff game for some extra loot for equipment at key positions and to invest in our stadium.

Initially I thought it nearly impossible. We scouted and weighed our performances against the teams we lost (sometimes badly) to last season, and it just seemed almost of of reach. If everything went right, we won all our "winnable" games even the longshots, and if a tough team had an unlucky upset as well, I calculated we might be able to steal 4th place. But that was a "best case" scenario.

The GM's and I laid out the season plan for the team, talked about upcoming hurdles and obstacles, the need to boost if possible, and if boosting when to do it.. And the players listened. They took it to heart, boosting players, developing players under guidance of our coordinators, taking part in our forum either joking around or inspiring each other.. It was total Gestalt. The group of agents and players became more than a sum of their parts, we became a team.

We lost our first game, but it didn't slow us down. We had circled that game (and a few others) as losses, because of the level differential and previous "ass-handing" we had received the season before. But we didn't lose bad... in fact, we had our chances to win. So our team wasn't demoralized in the least, contrary, we were pumped that we made a game of it, we figured our margin of defeat would be higher.

The "the Streak" began. It all happened so fast and wonderfully that it's hard to describe it objectively. The short of it is that we won 12 games in a row, 14 if you include two scheduled scrimmages against playoff teams from other leagues. We beat teams we had thought "tough but beatable" by large margins, and we also claimed victories against teams we had penciled in as losses, such as our wins against Padang Lightning & Mongolian Horde. We also 'lucked out' that other teams self destructed during the season, although some are rebuilding themselves into bigger and better versions of the old teams.

We also had some builds that performed pretty averagely last year blossom into producers. All of the players on my team are very solid, but some guys really shined. They know who they are, and don't want/need to be acknowledged here, but needless to say I'm very proud of how my team both as a group and as individuals performed.

If this was a Football 101 class, I'd have to give us an A... almost an A+, but without winning our playoff game, we just missed the extra mark.
