Hammond Bayou Bengals (15-1) v. Austin Alcoholics (8-8)

Austin enters the playoffs with a better team than their record indicates as the 8 seed. After losing a relatively close game to the Bengals during the regular season, the Alcoholics are looking to shock the Bengals. The Bengals are pretty confident going into the game after winning 14 straight. Look for the Bengals to strike early and put the game away early while the Alcoholics keep it close in the end. Bengals win this one 38-28.

Pewntenheimer “Mighty” Pewnts (15-1) v. Auckland Raiders (10-6)

The Raiders are a team that has been up and down all season. Seemingly they are on one week and then off the next. The Pewnts are still very strong entering the playoffs with a tie for the best record and a dominating, regular season victory over the Raiders. Look for this one to be closer than their regular season game but still not close enough. Pewnts win this one 42-14.

Twin Cities Wildcats (15-1) v. San Diego Bolts (11-5)

These two teams opened the season against each other with the Wildcats winning by a large margin. This time, it will be different. The Bolts are a team that can turn it off and on and look for this game to be closer. The Wildcats will still win this one though, 38-24.

Tampa Bay Greyhounds (13-3) v. LUElinks LUEshis (11-5)

This will be the best game of the first round. The Greyhounds bring a strong team into the playoffs with a string of 6 wins in a row leading into the playoffs. They are confident and ready to go. I think this will be the upset of the 1st round, the “LUE LUE’s” are a very good team that lost a few close games this season including one to the Greyhounds. Look for the LUE’s to win a very close game this time, 35-28.

This was my first time doing this so be easy on me. Good luck to everybody in the playoffs!

My Prediction is

Bengals
Vs ---> Bengals
Alcoholics

Greyhounds
Vs ---> LUEshis
LUEshis

Pewnts
Vs ---> Pewnts
Raiders

Wildcats
Vs ---> Wildcats
Bolts
--------------------------------------------------------

Bengals
Vs ---> LUEshis
LUEshis

Pewnts
Vs ---> Pewnts
Wildcats
--------------------------------------------------------

Pewnts
Vs ---> Pewnts
LUEshis

I'm probably just bias with the LUEshis call over the Bengals (and possibly the Greyhounds since they're a damn good team too) but if anything regular season tells us it's entirely possible. I have no doubt that the Pewnts will finally make their AA appearance as the undisputed A4 champions and will more than likely be seeing AAA the season after that.

I dunno, I think its the Bengals turn to move up. The Pewnts will be here next season.

The Bengals beat an unboosted Pewnts, and not by very much. I highly doubt their ability to beat the full force of the team in the playoffs. Next season will be their turn to move up probably :-/

Then again, everyone always has the pewnts as the favorites yet they always somehow fail.

We beat them pretty handily during the season, I think it could go either way in the playoffs. We certainly fared much better in the playoffs last year against the Warriors than they did. We'll see, it'll be a good game if both teams make it that far.

I kinda went homer with the Austin pick lol--especially since the owner is a cool dude--but the rest of em I'm pretty sure on.

The Bengals are a beasty..beasty team..so it's going to be a good one

Our team owner lives in Austin ironically enough. I spent seven years myself, miss living there.. So I'm an Austin homer too. But, they're still losing tomorrow dammit.
