Warrior General Games

yes, technically, alpha went 9-7 versus the Zeta squads. Alpha was quick to say "Zeta is overrated!" or "Guess that means Alpha is better!"

I beg to differ and here's why.

There were only 4 games where two play off teams were matched up against each other.
Barcelona Chupacabras vs. Liverpool Poison
Spanish Inquisition vs. The Dark Knights
Krakow Krakodiles vs. Belgrade Bears
Warsaw Sabotage vs. E. Berlin Blitzkrieg.

Zeta went 3-1. I mean, who cares if the Hungry Hungary Hippo's beat the crap out of the Texas City Storm? Who cares if the Chernobyl CHUDS beat Rammstein Rampage in a battle of teams who, going into the game, had ONE win. Who cares about those games.

Your playoff teams, that played our playoff team got whipped. Your best against our best and we won at a .750 rate. We outscored your "playoff" teams 127-78.

So you brought your best against ours. I for one was not impressed, despite your dominance over the doormats of our league.


P.S. The number 2 team in your division could only beat our #11 by 2 TD's? Really? Thats the second best team you have?

All Zeta teams are vastly superior to Alpha. We Alphians can only hope to learn from our Zeta masters and bask in their glory.

I feel so left out

We were predicted to loose ya know...
And had the Warriors won, they would be in 8th place for a playoff seat.
But alas, they lost, which means our game keeping them out of the playoff wasnt counted as a hard game against their best (because we won???).
Bummer (I think)... Was it good or bad that we won... damn I lost track now.

Well the Gods didn't beat the Bears the first time, so they are going to have to try something different.

that was a close game thru. But they really doing great job by upest the Hippos.

True that...should we even do the playoffs? Or should we just let all 16 teams from Zeta play each other to decide who is the best in EE A #5. I don't even know what the guys in Alpha are doing in a playoff position, other than taking up space for the Zeta teams who deserve to be there, but got stuck in such a good division.

Badmonkey...thanks for putting us in Alpha conference, it would have really sucked to have lost all of our games this season
