The West defeat the East 9-7. I guess that confirms the West is the Best and the East is the Least.

that must be true, I'm sure they were all fair and balanced matches.

The west is a much more balanced conference, with more teams contending for the playoffs. However, the East has the better top tier teams (Sasquatches excluded), headlined right now by QC and Sudbury, with Halifax, Nebraska, St. Johns, and Cheyenne included in that.

That's no disrespect to Vinland, Manitoba, Vanouver, or Hillsburgh though, who are also great teams. It would have been interesting to see what had happened if all these teams were in the same conference.

Well since we beat Cheyenne..and it was top class team vs top class team...I don't think you can exclude the Hillbillies but included the Arforce as top teams.

Also Halifax ( rank #3)lost to the Warriors (rank #7)...so that would suggest maybe the top teams of the east aren't as sturdy as they like to think.

You left Winnipeg off that list and they just beat Halifax.

I noticed you skipped over Montreal who we just beat.

There is your #7 and #8 seeds on the East.

So if you want to compare the top 8 teams hands down West is much stronger than the East.

Halifax losing to the Warriors might not mean as much as you guys think.

The Hashishim had a top 4 playoff spot locked in and they could have been testing tactics or experimenting with something, or just generally trying to throw off scouting from other Eastern Conf. playoff teams.

I mean it's totally possible that the Warriors are the real deal, but it could go both ways.

Oh, I'm not in any way, shape, or form saying the Hillbillies aren't a top tier team. My point was merely that the East has more top tier teams than the west, although the west is more balanced throughout the conference than the east. Just wait till my power rankings come out Hanz, you'll see what I mean.

After the first round of playoffs, the 4 remaining in the East are no surprise. The West, not so much.
