Ok, at times I have written some trash talk or nonsense but this is legit and my unbiased glasses are on.
Executive of the year Alpha
Hague ownership brought in more money than other team in our division. Going with 2 corners was brilliant.
Runner up PTT (they didnt go broke after all).
Team of the year
PTT went unbeaten and in either division that is quite an accomplishment. Not sure they could have done anything else differently.
Runner up, Rostov. Call me a homer, but since the Hague loss has any team had such an imposing defense? I belive only Kiev and Budapest scored touchdowns on us in the last 11 games.
Defensive MVP
Sack Stunt of Rostov.....enough said on him in the other thread. Dominant year and he successfully rushed the passer all season against everyone.
Offensive MVP
Terry Bradshaws of Gdansk. Without Bradshaws would they have gotten 11 wins? You can say he was the product of a system, but his 4500 yards and 35 TDs(only 3ints) showed he was the real deal at the most important position.

Tim Titt Rostov
Runner up De' Dubya Aye Kiev
Team with best future.
Budapest was not Warsaw bad, but they sucked pretty badly. They went 4-2 in their final 6 games. 2 of those wins were over playoff teams and they gave PTT one of their toughest games of the year in opening up a 14 point lead going into the second quarter. Seems like a lock for them to improve on their 6 wins they had this season.
Runner up. Krakow Cheetas won 7 games this season and very easily could be a playoff team next year.
Most disappointing team.
Pecs lost 6 of their final 7 games after a 7-2 start to miss the playoffs. On paper I thought they were the 5th best team in Alpha.

My analysis is off of stats. I did not go out of my way to snub PTT or any other team that had a great season but few to none players on here. Typically if you had a good win/loss record you probably suffered in certain stats (eg if your QB was on a team that was behind and passed more, or a middle of the pack team and u got more tackle opportunities). FB for example, i looked up yards and TDs, i couldnt find pancakes so it was screwy in finding a FB/TE/FS etc that do more than just one thing.
Congrats to those that made the cut. I apologize to anyone who I might have missed.
I know this post is not perfect, but if you have a case for a certain player......post stats to back up what you think. In other words, make a case.

. But i think alot of people will have issues with this post because they will focus on levels and "padded" stats. Either way, it will be interesting on what others think.
