Since you own your own team, the easiest way is to offer a cash trade for him if you haven't already then release him yourself. But looks like your stuck for now. Rosters have already been locked due to upcoming play-offs. New to this season though, Bort announced trades can resume if your not in the play-offs (once they start), but you still can't cut anyone until the off-season.
