My picks in bold, Game Of The Week is underlined.


Brooklyn Beastmen vs. Lake Placid Predators

This is basically a meaningless game for both teams. Brooklyn is being relegated to BBB after the season and Lake Placid is just avoiding more of the same. Brooklyn cant compare in lvls to the rest of the league, including the Predators. Lake Placid actually has a pretty solid roster, its just their coaches holding them back at this point. Predators take it.

Mentone Beach Assault vs. Chicago Hedgehogs

This is easily one of the best games played in A6 all season long. Both teams come into the game with a high powered offense that few have been able to stop. Mentone is comming off a tough loss to SanDiego but it wasnt anything they did wrong in that game. Chicagos leading the league in passing yards right now and Mentone is not far behind in that respect but they may have some issues on defense. Their pretty evenly matched on paper so this one could turn into a real shoot-out. Look for a high scoring game that Chicago edges out.

Oklahoma City Strikers vs. Sooner State Shockers

Oklahomas got a solid running game and their just gonna pound the Shocker fools into the ground like they should.

Cleveland Elves vs. Death Valley Grave Diggers

This is a battle between 2 teams trying to get things together and be more competitive. Death Valley is fighting for a chance at the #8 seed but if they cant win this game its all but over for them in season 4. The Elves are pretty much out of it at this point and its been a long fall for them since being promoted after season 2. Death Valley knows they need this one and I see them comming out with a W and keeping their playoff hopes alive.

Los Alamos Isotopes vs. Hellas Longhorns

The Isotopes have proven their going to be a solid team in A6 for a while to come. They have upset the top seeds and played the best teams very close all season long. Their nothing to be scoffed at and this week is their 'free ride'..They can finally take their collective foot off the gas and coast thru this one taking down Hellas without a hitch.

Big Bear Avalanche vs. San Diego Demolition

BigBear is a team thats struggling to find its footing, its roster isnt competitive with most the teams in A6, which is apparently one of the toughest A leagues in all of GLB. SanDiego is relieved that they can sit back and relax for a week after making it thru their toughest 3 game stretch to date.


Huskers Illustrated Bugeaters vs. Austin Beavers

This is a game the Bugeaters need to use to get everything perfect for their next week matchup against the Horde. The Beavers have been struggling to keep their head above water but have been pretty unsuccessful at doing it. They miss the playoffs again this year and this week, they are reminded of what it is to be the best. Bugs put a wooping on the furry damn-building-Beavers.

Tana River Ewoks vs. Barbarian Horde

When the season first started I thought Tana would possibly challenge to be a top 6 team in A6, and that sais alot. The top of the food chain is very crowded here in A6 and this week they are going against the best it has to offer. After an abysmal season 3 the Horde have again staked their claim on A6 as the #1 team. Their not messing around, and there looking for an easy ride into the championship game. They get the win here although Tana River is a scrappy team and will probably put some points up.

Nice, I don't think we'll win by that much though.

I'd say more around 31-17(maybe even higher for them)

Underdog status again...thank god..fingers crossed!!!

We play best as an underdog. The west now has 4 teams tied for the #1 spot. It's been an interesting season and some good games still remain.

GG. Hedgehogs, you had our number again.

Looks like a good game between Mentone and Chicago, not as high scoring as I predicted.

Looks like the Ewoks came to play today, taking down the Horde and it affirms my beliefs of Tana River being a top-6 team. Probably the dark-horse in this years playoffs. I would NOT want to see them in the first OR second OR third round.

Good game BigBear, you guys will get there eventually, jus keep on the right track. Good-luck with the rest of the season.

Yeah, good game Ewoks. I think the Horde had an off day, but you guys certainly took advantage.

Death Valley is ready for a playoff run, big game for us next week.

We'll take the off day. We really needed the win more to set up our game next week with Death Valley. Turnovers really hurt you guys. GG though. Good luck next week against the Bugeaters.

Dispite the fact that the hedgehogs virtually locked up a top-2 seed today, whoever wins the west is going to have a little luck on their side, its a little bit crazy over here. The biggest benefit of a high seed is having only 2 games against top-5 teams, rather than 3.

Nice heart with the upset btw ewoks.

And Mattman, I'm almost scared for your playoff predictions since of the 13 weeks you've predicted the winner of the hedgehogs game, you've been right 13 times. Its almost scary in a way, ya know?

Yea well to be honest with you, and unfortunately for the rest of us, you havent made the choice very difficult for the most part
