Lots of big games this week in Alpha as they start to sift out that playoff order.
Rotterdam @ Liverpool - Two of the top teams from last season are near the top of the heap again this year. The Scousers have reeled off 5 straight wins, while the Harbourmasters have stumbled a little bit of late, dropping 2 of their last 4.
Zurich @ Judah - Zurich is trying to scrape their way into the playoffs, just one game behind Ljublana for the #8 spot. However, they visit Judah this week. The Lions are playing as well as anyone right now, and are coming off their 7th straight victory.
Madrid @ Barcelona - Last year's "Spanish Civil War" was one of the best games of last season, with Madrid edging out the bulls. This season's version looks like it should be just as good with both teams right in the middle of the crowded Alpha playoff picture.
Not so many big games in Zeta this week, but there are a couple to keep your eye on.
Rome @ Rockaway - Rome looks to bounce back from last week's loss with a win this week over the Knights, a team that has struggled a bit this season, but isn't far removed from their playoff run of a year ago. Rome could use a win here if they want to hold off the Breakers and Maulers in the standings.
Munich @ Chelsea - Munich is tied for 7th place in the standings with the Breakers and visit the one-loss Cardinals this week. No one has a tougher remaining schedule than the Maulers with the Cardinals, Hammers, and scorching hot Lions from Alpha still on their slate.
Camelot @ Eindhoven - The Kings looking to solidify their claim atop the conference roll into Eindhoven this week. The Kings are tied for the 3rd spot in the Zeta standings, but they don't have an enviable schedule ahead of them with games against Ironton and Barcelona still to go. They'll need to find a win today if they hope to end up with home field advantage for the first round of their playoffs.
