Big "LION" Games this week!!!

Pigs vs. Devils: Just like the Jackals, Devils are a solidly built team mostly under direct control. This is one fo those games where the matchup page means bullshit. Devils are the favorite, an upset here would throw a monkey wrench into the current top 4, and could cost the devils several ranks.

Wildcats Vs. Pitbulls: Solid top to bottom team Vs. an offensive juggernaut! Wildcats said they were not going to lose again so, I guess they are not going to lose again! Pittbulls only hope is to SHOCK AND AWE BABY!

The Face Vs' Dillos: # 6 Vs #8 for a very unstable 6-8 seeding. There are some complicated tie breakers here so I won't even try. A win by the Dillos will further solidify these ranks while a FaceEaters win here will test GBL Tie Breaker Logic, with Hellfish Having Lost to the Dillos, Dillos Losing to Face, and Hellfish beating FaceEaters,,, huh? I thought So. A Face win would create a surprise 6-8 for whoever looked at the new standings.

hmm running out of time, must go back to work...

We don't plan on losing another game, with that said, this season was more than I expected. from 8-8 to 12-1 is remarkable. ?retoria is gonna be a tough game tho

Thanks for calling us the favorite Rhuin, but as we both can see your team makes our's look small. You out level us in almost every position--hence you have the better overall ranking. I'm hoping that we can stay on the same field with you guys.

Anyway, it should be a very fun game and I would like to wish you good luck! Hopefully, you haven't found our weakness--beer and women

We out ranked the Jackals as well and were man handled. I've run into a few teams that had synchronized builds/tacts, and they are usually much tougher than they look. Besides I like being expected to lose,

isn't that everyones?!?!? And Bacon,,, we have plenty of that here.

not to be mean or anything, when ever you post these "BIG GAMES", you always include your team. Its kinda annoying

Sorry, It may be annoying, and if my team wasn't in the top contending teams I wouldn't post about us. I am posting about games with Playoff, and playoff position implications. Have you looked at the standings? Big games have something to do with games having implications, and being a good game. Would I post about my team if we were playing a team that was 1-15? No, and I haven't, see week 13, have you seen me post A BIG GAME for us against a team where we were expected to blow someone out?? No,,, that WOULD be annoying. Would I post about another game about a top 8 team that is expected to blow out a lower ranked team? No. Should I post about lower ranked teams playing each other? Maybe, but I only have so much time. Do I post about any possible team that could have an impact upon the playoff picture? Yes, as I did with the Hitmen, and FaceEaters the last several weeks.

I DO try and include anyone who can be involved in having an impact down the stretch. Again I don't have time to analyze every team and matchup. Not to mention, having been the only one giving Lion some spotlights week to week, and a place to talk smack about the games. I don't say a word about my games afterwards, unless it's an improbable win, or a tough loss, or giving a hard working team props for a well played game, see Bulls,,, I always congratulate and give props to my opponents, see thread after thread.

It's also probably going to annoy you,(aside form this LONG ASS POST ) but week 16 inter conference games may have positional impact on the Lion payoff picture. Which may make our game with you a BIG GAME, and although I expect you to handle us rather easily, it may have a significant impact on who plays who, round 1, and could potentially kick us(and whatever other dynamics are left week 16 to write about) from millions in home playoff money, something that would be considered big for any team that ends up in the top 4.

BIG BIG BIG, ya, Big post,

I dont care, his team is pretty sweet. I think every wildcats game is a big game.
With that said this game should be easy. I think the wildcats will walk away with a W, but it would be huge if we got upset. I really really want the pigs to beat the jackals!!! wow that would be AWESOME!!!! GO PIGSSS!!!!!! that would cement us at #1, assuming we win our next 3 games....and after tomorrow we got it easy.

Every Dunes game is important now, until we lose one...if we lose, all playoff hopes are gone, but we should be able to pull off the miracle turnaround Cinderella story again this season somehow if things fall into place in the Elephant conference...

It's a slim chance still, and I'm sure some teams have to lose and us win out, but I'm no good at knowing what has to happen...all I know is we're tryin to get in there now that everything's firing on all cylinders finally haha

I wont be suprised to see you guys go 8-8. that would be kinda cool, considering you started 0-7 right?

And I really appreciate the lion conference discussion. I feel the majority of this conference is elephant geared and the lion conference is often overlooked. I think we have an amazing conference. Cripplers will win it all but it would be interesting to see how our top notch teams compare to elephants top notch teams besides the cripplers.

Keep it up rhuin!

it seems like 2/3 of the lion conference is actually pretty well matched.

I think next season we will see much tigher matches and more upsets.

Hmm, Jackals opponent for week 14 are the Bulls not the pigs.

I think I meant the devils and the pigs....oops. well that changes things a bit. cause then if the devils loose the jackals got the head to head edge over us wildcats. Sorry pigs. I gotta root for the devils now!!!
