now that the plays are posted, offensive coordinators should be able to rank the plays per type in order of favorites. it would add a little more to the planning and challenge.

"Blast" and "Dive" will be your most common. "Blast" is a B gap run, where "Dive" would be an A gap run.

There's also the "Belly" play; the FB run from the Pro Set.

Any one know how to get the AI to run outside running and deep pass plays from the normal I.

Ask Bort to add those plays.

Is there a way to force a two TE set?

how do you set the double tight end formation?

how can i set a single backfield formation?

You don't, and you don't.

Setting the AI to use more short passes will result in the 2TE (Ace) formation randomly coming up, but you can't force it.

ia there a way to have twins left split right out of the shotgun and run off tackle ?

i no the answer is no -- but any ideas on how to fudge the tactics to get that to run

Seriously? Um...no.

Is the WR#2 position considered the possession receiver?
A player who would be suited with good possession skills / agility?

The WR2 lines up on the offense's right side. That's pretty much the only distinction.

Do most offensive GMs use a playbook for a run heavy offense and a different one for a pass heavy offense.

No, they just tweak the %s in their one offensive playbook depending on their opponent. Some teams use multiple offensive playbooks, but I'd say they're the minority.

1. You need to doublecheck your settings.
2. As they're developed.
3. Still up to the puter.
4. Pick the off tackle option in the offensive AI.

Have a question, just wondering how do you call a spread,4-5 wr wide ?
Or in the OAI.

In the output section and where it say
play type I put in pass

play distance i put in long
not sure if this would give me the spread offense, but with these settings can I rush the my HB ? Trying to see how to force the defense into the nickle or dime pachage, and work the running game against the nickle or dime package.

You can't force formations or force plays out of specific formations like that right now.

No you cant select who you want or how many players in a certain position you want out there. The best way is get 5 WR on a play is selecting Shotgun and long as the play distance but there's no way you will always get 5 WR

has anyone tried a input of 0-0.5 yards as distance and if so, did it work.

Would like to set an input on a certain situation where we would go for it on 4th & inches, but not if it is 4th & 1.

I think if you set the Punt input to 1-100 yards and put it above the "go for it" input, which would be 0-1, it will go for it if it's less than 1 yard, but punt if it's 1 yard or over. You can't set decimal distances.

Your playbook is your actual gameplan in the Offensive AI. That's what this game calls a playbook. The actual playbook the game uses is found on the page that lists the plays (on the link in your Offensive and Defensive AI pages).

No they are actually called presets, bottom of the AI page I have multiple ones just because I kept changing it and I didn't know if I would like the way it worked.
