If you are having trouble getting the offense going, scout the other teams in your conference and see what they are doing that your team is not.

Thanks for your responce. When scouting my teams opponents, I check to see what plays have worked against my opponents defense. Still my offense struggels badly. I have some very good build dots however teams with lower EL is beating us. It's very frustations seeing my offense struggle so badly. I have used the adjustment setting in packages. I'm still working hard to get the offense going.

Keep trying. I'm having the same problem with my offense.

I will keep working at it until I get it right. It just very frustrating.

Make sure that you not only look at what pass plays teams are using successfully, but also the progressions. Getting the custom progression right is very important.

Haven't OC'd in a good 8 seasons, and of course I come back and have no AI anymore. (my old one was a 14+ season project and was flawless).

It seems starting with one of the Premade AIs as a basis just doesn't work if you plan to use your own packages. For some reason, attempting to add Package based outputs to the premade inputs won't find any. I'd rather reference the team packages, but it just doesn't seem to find them.

Because of this cluesterfuck my team has dropped a few games and my play is running somewhat out of control assortment of plays. It really sucks because I'd rather not start entirely from scratch on my AI if I have to, but I suppose I may have to.

Any suggestions?

I just tried it, and didn't have any problems. Start with the Preset named Base Offense. Copy it to your AI, or team AI. If it goes to your AI, you can only add packages from there.

I didn't try to add it to a team, but I'm guessing from there you could add packages from either, as long as you have team access allowed.

You should be able to do whatever you want to it after that.

Not working. I actually started using the "rush first" offense, and I've tried running it from the team AI where the packages appeared to be linked properly, but as soon as I copied them to My AI, it gave errors that the packages didnt exist. So, I copied my packages to My AI/packages, and then relinked them in the AI. Made them all default, still no luck. The AI isn't running anything from my packages it seems.

It seems I'm going to have to start from scratch. I woudln't be surprised if this is bugged or something.

Are you sure you've allowed access to that team? I think that changed sometime a few seasons ago.

I did allow access to the team.

Today I finally got fed up and created an AI with a single input/output and package. I built them in My AI and ran a scrimmage. Success.

It seems there's a bug in either editing the premade AIs, or doing that directly on the team AI instead of My AI. It was annoying to say the least, and now I have to build another AI from scratch. weeeeee....

I'm a player from season two that took a few years off. I now own a team and because I could not find an offensive coordinator I took control of the offense this season. I have an overly complex offense that has been completely mediocre to this point. My main problem is that I threw every single play I could into the mix. Running plays are easy to decide whether they work or not, passing plays are not so simple. If people could PM me money passing plays that would be much appreciated.
