To answer your question kingfrik. Yes we all have balanced schedules over the entire season(give or take on the last game). Although it is easy to go undefeated if you are playing all cake teams, at the beginning of the season. Although if all of their tough games are at the end of the season. For example: The Huskies tough part of the schedule was in the middle of our season(although Slovakia is gonna be a tough game), Slovakia has had all of their tough games at the end(Perkis, Huskies, Real Macouts) at the end of the season. In turn we have a slightly easier path to the playoffs than they do at this point in the season.
Hence the purpose of the strength of schedule.
