1. Calgary Destroyers (11-1)
Previous: 2 High: 1 Low: 2
Since last we ranked Calgary has padded some stats against Alberta and the Demos, winning by a comined 120-0. This week they face a Hangmen team that is seriously overmatched. The possibility is there for Calgary to win their last three games by 180-0, though I think they fall short of 60-0. Calgary wins by 54.

2. Niagara Nightmare (11-1)
Previous: 1 High: 1 Low: 2
The Nightmare survived a scare from the Bulls 17-14, but bounced back and blanked Alberta. Niagra is in the middle of the cupcake tour with games agaisnt the Demos and Hangmen before the big Western Conference matchup with Calgary. Niagara crushes the Demos by 50.

3. Unsavory Gentlemen (10-2)
Previous: 4 High: 3 Low: 10
The UG continues to play up to the level of its competition, pulling off a close win against powerhouse Kansas City. The following week showed a team that was a tad too proud of their accomplishments, as it took a fourth quarter flurry to beat a very game Manitoba squad. This week they go back home to take on a solid Saskatoon squad, in what should be a good game. UG by 13.

4. Kansas City Gorillas (10-2)
Previous: 3 High: 3 Low: 8
KC moves down a spot after losing to UG, victims of clutch vs. unclutch kicking. They took it out on the Hangmen the following week, as the Gorillas poured it on for a 55 point blowout. This week they take on a Manitoba Lions team that has way more spunk than perhaps many are giving them credit for. KC wins it by 17.

5. Shilo Silly Nannies (8-2)
Previous: 5 High: 5 Low: 7
The Silly Nannies are beginning to click at just the right time, showcasing impressive wins against teams they are supposed to beat, while showing up strong agaisnt even competition. This week they travel down for a match against the Thrashers, as wildcard team that is hard to estimate. If the Silly Nannies can handle them, they will showcase to the West that they are a serious contender come playoff time. Shilo by 16.

6. Saskatoon Sasquatch (8-4)
Previous: 6 High: 5 Low: 11
The Squatch holds onto the number six spot even after being upset by the Thrashers more-so because of past accomplishments rather than current status. First Saskatoon only barely squeaks by a Genosha team that they should have beaten more handily, then they suffered the aforementioned upset. Saskatoon has a tough game against a very good Unsavory Gentlemen team next, and unless they can pull off the upset, they very well could face losing their 6th place ranking....or more. The Squatch loose a heartbreaker that they are in till the 4th, before losing by 13.

7. Chilliwack Care Bears (7-5)
Previous: 9 High: 6 Low: 11
The Care Bears have strung together solid wins against Prince George and Toronto, and now face back to back games against equal level competition Genosha and the Thrashers. The Care Bears are looking more and more like a for sure playoff team, but the next three weeks are crucial. In the game of imaginary cartoon characters, Care Bears beat the X-Men by 4.

8. Kelowna Bulls (6-6)
Previous: 8 High: 3 Low: 11
Things are looking up for the Bulls, as they played Niagra tough and nearly pulled out the upset, and then followed that up with a dismantling of the Warriors. They have another very winnable game agaisnt Toronto, as Kelowna's schedule looks very favorable to holding onto one of the last playoff spots. The Bulls win by 17.

9. Saskatchewan Thrashers (6-6)
Previous: 10 High: 3 Low: 10
The Thrashers lost a game they should have won, and won a game they should have lost, losing to Manitoba and beating the Squatch in back to back games these last 2 weeks. The Thrashers have a very difficult schedule remaining if they want to make the playoffs, and every game is almost a "must win". Things don't look to good to start, as they face a darn good Shilo squad. Thrashers lose by 16.

10. Genosha X-Men (6-6)
Previous: 7 High: 5 Low: 10
Inactive teammembers appear to be the X-Men's proverbial Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, as lack of team unity is seriously hampering a team that should be much better than they are. Two losses in a row in very winnable games have the X-Men holding onto the final playoff spot, a spot that unfortunately it appears they will lose very soon. Look for the X-Men to lose to the Care Bears this week in a close one, before free-falling for the rest of the season and going 1-3 the final four weeks.

11. Manitoba Lions (5-7)
Previous: 11 High: 11 Low: 13
Manitoba is an up and coming team that has looked impressive the last two weeks, pulling out the upset against the Thrashers and keeping it close agaisnt the UG till late in the game. Unfortunately Manitoba has an abosolutely brutal schedule remaining, and they will have to win out if they want to squek into the playoffs. It doesn't look like it is happening for them this year. Look for them to lose to KC this week by 17.

12. Alberta Irukandji (3-9)
Previous: 12 High: 11 Low: 15
Alberta made it through the Niagra/Calgary slaughter tour exactly where many expected them to be, with 2 more loses. This week they take on Prince George in a very winnable game before taking on Toronto next week in a battle for the title of "Best Bad Team". Look for Alberta to pull out a solid win against the Warriors. Alberta by 13.

13. Toronto Lockdowns (2-10)
Previous: 13 High: 9 Low: 13
Toronto has been a very bad team since they beat the Warriors eight weeks ago, and this week the surging Bulls will continue to make them look that way. Toronto's defense can sometimes play up to competition, but their offense is woeful. Bulls by 17.

14. Northside Hangmen (1-11)
Previous: 14 High: 14 Low: 16
The last two weeks found the Hangmen sipping from the finest drug store champagne for their first win of the season against the Demos, to reality setting in with an absolute beatdown from Kansas City. With back to back games against Niagra and Calgary, the only good thing with any sort of "Hangman" tag we'll see for the next two weeks is Hangman Gallow's avatar pic. Calgary routs them by 54.

15. Prince George Warriors (0-12)
Previous: 15 High: 13 Low: 15
Prince George is bad. Maybe next week they win a game. This week they lose to Alberta by 13.

16. Fhockey.com Demos (Edmonton Beavers) (0-12)
Previous: 16 High: 14 Low: 16
Easily the least talented team in the league. Their circumstances have been rehashed time and time again, so I'll just end it by saying they get destroyed by 50 by Niagra.

Regardless of how much you like to imagine men sucking on men, Calgary moved to first because they have won their last two games 120-0 and you almost got beat by a middle of the road team.

I've been fairly unbiased, as has Rob. Calgary deserves their move back to #1. Your offense is anemic and one dimensional at best. I realize that is the pot calling the kettle black, but you know it's a fact.

We showed that a decent line, and our line is just decent not great, can easily open up holes in your D and your offense couldn't move the ball against level 15 D-linemen and level 16 and 13 corners.

Calgary is balanced and deserving of their spot at #1. Period.

And to top it off, your a douchebag.

YAWN

We can throw the ball when we want to. In fact we had more yards passing then you guys in our head to head game. Good job you stopped our run that game. We didn't change our offensive gameplan all year, so it wasn't hard to figure out. We wanted to see if anyone could stop our running game. It was your LB's that did it not your line btw.

When the playoffs come and if we face you guys again, you will be thrashed.

We have the best running game in the league. When did that become a bad thing?

Yeah, neither of your QB's have a rating above 70. Everyone gameplans against your run and you still can't throw the ball.

Final Score: 28-0

The Care Bears' cheerleaders are credited heavily for this victory. The girls did whatever it takes to distract the X-Men, including dancing provocatively like Vegas strippers and even performed naked during the halftime show. Great Job girls!
