First upset from a lower seed. Belgrade lost its first match up with Milan but has improved and will beat them.

2. Rostov-on-Don Mavericks
vs.
7. Pécs Gringos

Pecs puts up a figh but the short bus moves along




3. Kiev Flames
vs.
6. L'vov Train

Kiev narrowly avoids this train.

Kiev makes it more of a game than last time but falls short

Both knew this match-up would come. Rostov's owner BlackBall said a few fluky points late in the game made it closer score wise than it was. Both have dramitically improved and we await this match-up. Unfortunately for the Short bus, you ride ends here.

I had us in the finals vs Belgrade when i broke down my bracket. The ironic thing is, Belgrade didn't beat Hague to reach the finals. Crazy that our brackets were so different. My seeds were a little different than yours thou.

i used the current league ones provided. thats why i said, IF started today. In the end my brackets will be different i think except 1-3

There will be a lot of changes between now and the end of the season. Hopefully not at the top.

I don't even believe we'll make it to the finals. We did improve but The Hustlers are still levels ahead of us, as much as I hate to count my own team out...

honestly, if i had to bet against The Hustlers to decide who would be in the finals i would also say Belgrade. I respect your honesty chicagopax

No disrespect to the Fort but are you serious? They are always a chance to beat us but it is more of a unlikelihood. Pushing all cockiness aside and based on performance expectation, The Hague should not falter until the very very end..

Well there is a chance that Red Fort might not turn their season around and get the 8th seed and knock you guys out in round 1. It sounds like from your posts, that we all agree that needs to happen if Hague is to merely have the opportunity to survive round 1.

I sure hope we get the rematch. Several tough games stand in the way for both teams. Both teams will be primed and ready to go. I say the final four games will come down to who coverts their 3rd and longs and/or breaks a few tackles for a long TD. No doubt wins vs. Kiev and Pecs wont come easy.
