I'd like to be the very first to nominate AK for one of the DE spots. He has 74 tackles, 34 sacks, 19 hurries, 1 forced fumble and 1 safety. His game against Chang Mai was also the most impressive game of the season. He was one of the few players who absolutely stood out against us.

I'll refrain from nominating anyone from the Bulls now for the sake of sportsmanship (which will, of course, change if we're getting shut out).

AK, first nomination

By the way, people should also look at some of the key stats that don't necessarily show up on the conference league leader page, like TFLs for defensive players, QB rating for QBs, pancakes for FBs and TEs, etc. </end subtle plea for my QB>

Here are my nominations:

LDE: Crush McNasty of Singapore Bulls . He has gotten 69 tackles to only 3 miss tackles, 14 hurries, 19 sacks for 115.5 yards loss, 12 tackles for loss and 2 force fumbles.

I am a big advocate for the my fellow LDEs, with no disrespect to the RDEs. I just think that having to be the more balance of the two really gives you an edge over other RDEs. You get double, triple teams, burn a lot of energy on run plays from constant double teams and we are counted on for both the pass and run game rather than just one. I think we should seperate the DE into LDE and RDE cause it won't be a fair stat comparison between the two as seeing how RDE 'would perferably be the sack specialist, where else LDE would likely have more tackles, TFL, etc.

MLB: Cartoon Head of Super Human Tetris Gods. Records 161 to 11 miss tackles, a hurry, sack, 2 TFL, an impressive 25 pass deflections, 2 INTs, 1 FF and 1 FR.

Even though Cartoon Head team isn't too good, he stood out amoung his teammates. The guy is everywhere and alway making a play. He is a tackling machine. He shows he can defend the pass as well. He has verstality and has gotten almost 1 in every major stat category. Now people can say he gets so many stats becuase his defense is always on the field and other excuses, but you can't deny he is a playmaker. The guy is always involve in some way or form. You can say he is like P Willis. The guy is a good player on a bad team. (Big C I am not ripping on your team but I gotta make an undenyable comparison. Turbo sorry for making fun of the 49ers as well but they really aren't that good of a team )

Can we make as many nominations as we like?

yea ill going to go through and do that after the nominations are in....QB ratings/completion percentages/attempts per game....bunch of hidden stats.

xuchilles...dont let the madden ratings fool ya, after we get our QB situation dealt with, we'll be surprising more then a few people

**updated
EDIT
also added a few people in some positions, strictly from the conference leaders, didn't feel like adding stats yet, do it some other time...but if you dont see your guy up there, feel free to nominate him still.

No offense taken! Its a very astute comparison! Thought Cartoon head was a little un lucky not to get in last year as i think he had 89 tackles to 3 missed

Anyway onto my nominations:

KR/PR- HB Brandon Arthur of the Tokyo Hellfigters 5 return TD's this season including 2 against the super human tetris gods. One a bit akin to "the play" as it was with tokyo trailing by 3 points with 4 seconds left on the clock:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=108474&mode=pbp

Hats of to AK at DE, he came in talking the smack and backed it up with actions!

FB- Sunder Pathfinder 865 yards at 5.1pc with 10TD's being a huge rushing force from the FB position.

TE- Sticky Hands the TE killed us over the middle repeatedly!

Here's another nomination

SS: Daq Sanders of Chiang Mai Gangsters. Records 58 tackles to 6 miss tackles, 2 tackle for loss, 9 pass defend, 2 Int and one being a return for a TD, 5 force fumbles and 2 fumble recovery.

I say his stats speaks for what he has contributed to his team. He also had a big game when the Chiang Mai Gangsters played the Thailand Titans (6 tackles, 1 Int, 2 FF and 2 PD). He makes plays when it counts and contibuted solid stats throughout the season.

FS: Elmer Justice of Thailand Titans. Records 51 tackles to 6 miss tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 12 pass defend, 5 Ints, one of them being a 40 yard return for a TD, and 2 force fumbles.

Similiar thing to the SS above. Contributed solid productions throughout the season and for a FS 5 Ints is impressive and they were all spread out in differewnt games.

FS: Kerry Livgren of Singapore Bulls. Records 34 tackles to 3 miss tackels, 1 tackle for loss, 16 pass defend, 6 Int, 2 force fumbles, and a 56 yards Int return for a TD.

Solid productions throughout the season. Is on a Int streak as of late. beats FS with 6 Ints and through out several games. Impressive.

Blimey, this FB has 18 Pancakes and 8 TDs so far this season. What a guy!

Actually this FB is pretty good Jimmy "The Rock" Smithson http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=391084 of the Chang Mai Gangsters

Although only 9 pancakes.

His 19 TDs from 120 rushes produces a TD every 6.315 rushes. That's better than Sunder Pathfinder's 10 from 170 (a TD every 17 rushes).

It's a shame Zeke "The SuperDeke" Montana doesn't get the ball in his big mitts more often. 8 TDs from 33 rushes gives him a TD every 4.25 rushes.

take out Smithson 1 game against level one's though and you got an avg FB.go to game log, game 2?
Edit his stats for the rest of the season are 216 yards 7 t.d's pancakes minimal.Hardly pro-bowl starter material.maybe on season's highlight real of noteworthy game performances.
