Week 13 - Eastern Europe AA#4 Power Rankings *Official*
Moontayles disclaimer:
None of these rankings are done by 'feel' or 'intuition'. I use straight up math and when Excel is done sorting them, that's how I rank them. It's as fair as I can mathematically make it (except in the case of LBT, where i just input any numbers that look good and make their ranking go up). If you have any questions or comments feel free to mail me.
So, without further adieu, here are your week 13 OFFICIAL Eastern Europe AA#4 power rankings.
The race for the playoffs has heated up in the past 2 weeks. And it gets no easier for some of our teams.
In Alpha:
You have, technically, 11 teams still alive. Sparta has an outside shot, but needs a lot of help to squeak into the eight spot. Meanwhile, Athens is nipping on the heals of both Tallaght and Warsaw, while Fehervar and Moscow Bears are both trying to dislodge Int'l, Moscow Vandals and Lowell. Krakow is all but guaranteed the top spot, while Nissa sits comfortably in 2nd, with an easy schedule in. We have 3 games left, and anything can happen to shake up the 3-8 seedings. It's going to get interesting!
In Zeta:
St. Pete is firmly in control of their destiny at this point. However, they have a tough finish with matchups against Longreach, London and one of Alpha's tougher teams in Fehervar. Both London and The Look are 2 games back, with London having a slightly tougher finish with C-Town, St. Pete and their cross-conference rival, Lowell. After that, the playoff picture is extremely muddled, much like Alpha, with potentially 7 teams in the running for the final 5 spots.
It's exciting this year, fellas. Tons of parity, very few "easy games" on the schedule, and a lot of playoff hopes coming down to the last few weeks.
Power Rankings:
1) Krakow Cows (13-0) (61.12)
Still number 1 in the rankings, surviving a tough stretch of games that started with Moscow V, and ended with Lowell.
2) St. Petersburg Storm (13-0) (56.23)
Holding firm at #2, but a tough 3 game stretch to close out the season.
3) London Head Hunters (11-2) (35.34)
Moved up to #3 in the rankings with solid wins over The Look and Carluke. On a 5 game tear, but end with 3 tough games.
4) NISSA Dauphins (11-2) (34.70)
Been on a tear since their early season loss to the Vandals. Relatively easy schedule come in. However, pay attention to that Athens game.
