I have a couple of weeks left before i start my university course so im gonna have a go at creating the pro bowl team. Like i sed above im gonna try and see if i can do this, im going to do it the same way as kingsolo did last year, but perhaps maybe with a new ring! If everyone is interested, just let me know underneath this post. Il keep u guys updated with the process, just messin about with the pro bowl ring at the moment.

I just thought i would do this because its all zeta in ere, lets get the alpha boys talking.

For anyone who doesnt know how this was done last year, the owners will submit the best player forward from the following positions...

QB
HB
FB
WR
TE
OT
OG
C
DT/NT
DE
OLB
ILB
CB
FS
SS
K
P
KR/PR
OC/DC (Coordinators)

JUST ONE PLAYER FOR EACH POSITION OTHERWISE IF U SEND ME FOR EXAMPLE, 2 CORNERBACKS, I WONT SUBMIT ANY OF THE TWO.

The owners/GM's of every alpha team decide whos name is given forward in each position, but i ask for the OWNER of each team to PM me their selections with the teams name in the title.
When i receiver 16 selections or past a certain day, will use surveymonkey (may use sumthing else but probably be surveymonkey) i will send the selections to each owner to vote for their choice. I will ask each owner to vote for 3 players in each position for the 1st 2nd and 3rd. the players with the most amount of 1st choices will make the first team, the players with the second amount of votes will make the second team.
This is so we dont get a tie or anything.

Then i will send the pro bowl ring to the players who make the first and second team.

So owners/GMs might wanna start getting their selections together but dont PM me ur picks yet, il repost in here when im ready for them.

I think you guys will be getting plenty of votes. I just plan to vote for the guy who I think had the best season.

O AND PLEASE DONT VOTE FOR UR OWN PLAYERS, IT GOES AGAINST THE CONCEPT. IF U THINK UR PLAYER DESERVES IT THEN HE WILL GET PICKED BY EVERYONE ELSE

WEll maybe what we should do is have the alpha conference vote for Zeta probolwer and have the Zeta vote on the Alpha Probolwers.

I think this way it will the voting more accurate haveing the opposite conference vote for the players.

Just an idea.

hate to be the managers, not sure if zeta scouts alpha and vice versa. theyd have to do alot of work to get a decent picture of whos who.

I agree. we gotta select our own team. And really it shouldn't totally be based on the stats a guy puts up. If guys paid attention to the teams that they played, they would know who played well against and who didn't. Like for example, the FBs. A lot of times they don't have a ton of yards, catches, etc.. but they can be very important to a teams offense.

I AM NOW TAKING THE SELECTIONS FROM EACH TEAM, REMEMBER JUST THE OWNER OF EACH TEAM SEND ME THIER PLAYER NAMES. (BUT BY ALL MEANS CHOOSE THE PLAYERS WITH UR GMS ETC)

i have sussed out how to create the voting system im using and currently in the middle of a test but seems to be working.

Also, i am working on creating a new RING from last year, not created one yet at the moment but still trying, if i can make a good enough ring then il keep u guys updated, got an idea in mind thats not really different from last years, just a bit added.


AS FOR... things such as, voting for cornerbacks, i know ideally the less tackles, the better they have done, e.g. my cornerback doesnt get many tackles coz hes a shutdown and because he shutsdown receivers the QB dont pass to that receiver coz he aint open therefore doesnt get as many tackles.

so unless if any1 can think of a way for this to be done differently for cornerbacks then please let me no, if not im afraid it will have to be depending solely on stats.

wonder if maybe we should vote enough for full depth of a team(whatever you all decide that is). then perhaps with the friendlies we can have a alpha vs zeta pro bowl game for real.

yea but how would be put the players together in one offical team?


an update, CAN TEAMS PUT FORWARD 2 LINEBACKERS, an Inside LB and an Outside LB, its just that if its 1 LB each, then i have to pick 4 (the form wuld be a 3-4) from 16 players, + 4 for the second team, half of em are gonna get picked
so yea, for what players u need to send, check back to the first post in this thread

thats not necessarily true... my cb has a ton of tackles against the run
