Things got shaken up just a bit today with the loss by Hollywood and the big win by San Fran.

But we still have mostly East teams sitting on the top. Although we also have mostly east teams sitting at the bottom too. Damn gutted teams....lol

THanks,
StickMan

Sorry stickman. Your rankings aren't cutting it. I think you need to re-evaluate your system. I have no clue how to do it so I'm not criticizing you. You have done an excellent job so far but it just goes to show that its off when a team can lose and climb and another team can win and fall.

As always this ranking system is a work in progress. He'll sort it out soon enough.

I do agree that there is something wrong with it. If I had to rank it based on what I have seen out of the teams so far I would put it like this:

1 - Lincoln Navigators (W) (12-0-0)
2 - Hollywood Misfits (E) (11-1-0)
3 - San Francisco Webzoners (W) (10-2-0)
4 - Beer Town Brawlers (E) (11-1-0)
5 - West Coast Llamas (W) (10-2-0)
6 - Iowa City Pariahs (E) (9-3-0)
6 - Windsor Warriors (E) (9-3-0)
6 - Windycity Menace (E) (9-3-0)
9 - JetNation Juggernauts (W) (10-2-0)
10 - Yazoo City Saints (W) (8-4-0)
11 - Los Angeles Arsenal (W) (9-3-0)
12 - Dread City Diabolicals (W) (8-4-0)
13 - VEGAS Goodfellas (E) (8-4-0)

I think the many gutted teams in the West is fucking with the numbers pretty hard. The difference between the #2 and #10 positions is marginal at best. Any one of those teams could win on any day. The #11-13 positions would need to play a perfect game to beat #1-10. Lincoln is playing some serious ball this year (as usual) and I don't see them being here another season.

That is a little screwy huh...

I'll have to take a look at it more and see if there's a way to tweak it, because just my gut feeling puts several of the tops ranked teams lower than they show here....

Thanks,

yours are wrong too

How can LA beat both Yazoo and JetNation, but still be ranked lower?

In the same sense his rankings are pretty much head on the nail with Windycity. You guys put up zilch offense on us, and could not stop our O.

We outgained them by over 200 yards. They won the game because they had one big play on defense and one big play on offense and we couldn't get the ball into the end zone enough despite our success moving it outside their 20. And that's what counts in the standings, but it's also probably why the rankings went the way they did. I think the total points for both teams in that game was probably close to zero because the quality win points and success points probably cancelled each other out.

No, actually it was all luck and had everything to do with Bort's weekly beta changes. We should have stomped you like 57-3.
