**DISCLAIMER – Before I piss anyone off, these projections are only my opinion, and for the record I expect the playoff picture to look a little different from this. I’m just doing this for the fun of it.**

1. Edinburgh Black Knights – 16-0
Tough games remaining: Schiffertown

2. Glasgow Tigers – 15-1
Tough games remaining: Milan, Tilburg, Middlesbrough, Iceland

3. Tilburg Power – 12-4
Tough games remaining: Bonn, Glasgow, Milan, Trillville

4. Icelandic Vikings – 11-5
Tough games remaining: Bonn, Glasgow, West Yorkshire

5. Schiffertown Griffin’s – 11-5
Tough games remaining: Edinburgh, Boston

6. Trillville Hoods – 10-6
Tough games remaining: Milan, Tilburg, Dusseldorf

7. Milan Cock Fighters – 9-6-1
Tough games remaining: Glasgow, Trillville, Tilburg, Middlesbrough, Donegal

8. Bonn Jovi – 9-7
Tough games remaining: Tilburg, Middlesbrough, Iceland, Newcastle

--Just missing the playoffs--

9. Jamaica Rumrunners – 8-8
Tough games remaining: Edinburgh, Belfast, Stockholm

10. Middlesbrough Mayhem – 8-8
Tough games remaining: Bonn, Glasgow, Milan, Irish

--Pretty much out of it--

11. Frankfurt Universe – 5-10-1
Tough games remaining: Schiffertown, Trillville, Edinburgh, Rome

12. Belfast Shamrocks – 5-11
Tough games remaining: Iceland, Jamaica, Schiffertown

13. Oakton Huskies – 4-12
Tough games remaining: Trillville, Frankfurt, Edinburgh, Amsterdam

14. South Beach Sharks – 2-14
Tough games remaining: Jamaica, Schiffertown, Oakton, Brussels

15. Las Vegas Lunatics – 1-15
Tough games remaining: Pretty much all of them

16. Chaos Engine – 0-16
Tough games remaining: Ditto


Obviously some of the lower-seeded teams have a chance to play the spoiler role. Almost everyone has a chance to move up based on how they play their toughest games. Middlesbrough can move into playoff position by winning its tough games, but Jamaica has to win out and rely on lower-seeded teams beating playoff teams to get in. Everyone from 3-8 can move around, but it'll take a couple of shockers to supplant Edinburgh and Glasgow from the #1 and #2 seeds, respectively.

From the looks of it, it's going to be a crazy playoff race, and a crazy playoff. Should be fun to watch!

though i feel calling us out is a wrong. for that to happen we would have to lose all our games and everyone else would have to win all theirs. whats more likely to happen? that... or we win at least one and/or one or two other teams lose at least one?

either way no worries. we'll see what happens. if we play like i know we can and will i am confident in making the playoffs.

I think you should rule out Milan unless we get in at the last place.

Actually I think you guys can definitely beat Bonn and Milan. Didn't mean to call you out or anything, in fact I said you guys control your own destiny (as opposed to Jamaica, who has to rely on a couple of higher-ranked teams losing).

Personally, I think the top 6 on the board get in, and 7-10 is anyone's guess. That's why they play the games.

oh no dont worry, wasnt having a go. just saying i think it would be harder for us to not make the playoffs in the position we are now. we'll see though, thats the great nature of this game.

Yea, the 3,4,5 race is getting pretty interesting - each of us have fairly similar challenges yet for games 13-15, but if nothing's decided by then, I guess we (Tilburg) got a lucky draw for the game 16 vs. a Alpha opponent - we get a mid-level team while you and the Griffs get a couple of top teams.

Where available, did everyone get the same Alpha opponent as last season?
