Troy Smith has yet to even get a chance to prove himself. I don't even need to say anything on Manning.

The RBs are good except for Kevin Smith and Chester Taylor because I don't know who they are so I am not including them.

4 of the 5 WRs are good. Sidney Rice, I don't know him so again, not including him.

TE is good

Ravens D is somewhat over rated. Take Ray Lewis out and they'd be average.

My opinions of course.

id say the jets defense is under rated. they completely shut down the Giants tonight while the starters were on for both teams.

How many teams are in your league Jaimevick? Also what do you start. look at my original post and let me know what you do in your league.

Kevin Smith is a rookie and the starter in Detroit. (had a 35 yd td run tonight).
Rice is out of South Carolina and is in his second year. Hoping him or Meechum step up in their second seasons.
Chester Taylor will play when Peterson gets hurt.

BTW the Jets defense is not good.

10 teams in the league, we start
1 Qb, RB, TE, K, Def, Flex(WR/RB)
2 WR

It's a crap shoot. Out of my current roster, I will probably only end up with 3 or 4 that make it through the entire season. You never know who is going to take off. I used to just pick all LSU guys and hit the waiver wire through the season to fix any weakspots.

Manning is a good pick, and smith can fill in during his bye week but I would deal him after that.

Jones is a stud, Maroney will be good if he gets enough touches, McFadden could produce. Taylor has to compete with Peterson so thats not ideal.

Meachum is a good pick, cause Colston plays like a bitch. He's always fucking hurt. Wayne/Fitz are studs.

If Shockey can stay healthy he's hard to beat.

Baltimore always scores around the same fantasy points. The team to have for Defense in san diego/whales vagina lol

Ray Lewis is a whiny bitch.

Actually the defense to have this year is Minnesota. I watched part of their game today and DAMN they're hard to run on. they have the number 1 rated defense in yahoo fantasy football.

keep an eye out on johnson with the Titans. If he starts getting a lot of snaps you might pick him up. Dude is a big play waiting to happen

Min would be a good pick. For your defense, you want to select a team that can run the ball effectively on offense and wins the field position battle. Min, San Diego, Kansas City, Pitt, Jacksonville, Baltimore etc

I only have room for so many rookies. I didn't take a RB in the first 3 rounds. Usually i take 3 RBs in the first 4 rounds.

Someone picked Minnesota in the 10th round. Way too early to pick a defense. BTW i picked Minnesota last year with my final pick.

Reason i picked the Ravens was, i think cleveland won't score much on them in either game. I like Suggs, Roelle, and Reed............i bet read scores a couple tds on defense.

Your team looks solid then with your WR/Flex spot being great.

Keep an eye on that San Fran QB. He might become this year's Derek Anderson and really break out. He is almost 30 and has been playing awhile. He has looked really good in preseason and I doubt anyone has picked him.

I don't really like Farve, and thats what scares me about me having Jones.

Favre's arm strength alone just made the jets better running the ball. Jets could be contenders

I guess i have flashbacks of Boomer Essiason's last hurrah. I am tired of ESPN talking about Farve. They really do a bad job of covering football (college and pro).

It will be interesting to see how things pan out this season. I don't wish ill on the jets. I like Mangini. I think he is the reason they have potential to be successful. I don't like the fact that they have so many free agents coming aboard. Football isn't like baseball where you buy 6 guys and it equals success. I like the 2 linemen they drafted 2 years ago and think thats where they are going to be better. I hope Jones has a good year because he is on my fantasy team.

Jones will do fine. he did good last year with a shitty o-line. now with faneca on the line and calvin pace on defense. he had a few sacks tonight
