I'm sorry your team lost a few games, but them's the breaks. I know it sucks that it was just a 1-point loss, but with 8 slots there's bound to be a few teams that are disappointed. Look at the NCAA bracket selection every year - there's no way to make everyone happy.

You can make your own tournament for the conference champions if you want, but I think it will be a lot more fun to do it before these teams all promote.

don't lie and say it is incessant whining. All I did was speak the truth by saying just because a team is in 1st place RIGHT NOW that in no way makes them a champion.

To refresh your memory the Elephant Champion in Africa AA 1 was NOT in 1st place, they in fact did not even host a single home game which means they were either seed 5-8.

All I said was you can't have a tournament of champions in AA until the champions have been decided.

I agree with your point, and renamed the tournament.

He was calling me the whiner because I basically agreed with your statements. If we by some miracle pull off the upset and Kinshasa does after us, they Ghana drops to third. Will it happen? Doubtful, but there are too many big games coming up that mean something.

Also - apparently, I'm a whiner because I wasn't invited. False. I don't care, I'd rather win my league than a "Tournament of Champions" that means nothing anyday.

You weren't the only two teams to complain. It's not called the tournament of champions anymore, why do you care so much?
