EAST:

Winnipeg Wolves at Puvirnituq Musketeers
**Game Of The Week**
The Wolves steamrolled the Bandits last week, continuing their impressive streak. The Musketeers didnt stand back for Winnipeg and also won their game, ensuring that the intensity will be at an all time high at Amaamatisivik. The result in this game is almost too hot to handle, but ill go put on a limb and say that the Muskies win 21-19

Quebec Quasars at Toronto Bobcats
Toronto got a rare win last week, but will have to play at 110% to prevent another loss for the season. Play-off's seem pretty much gone for sure now, but they still have their honor to play for. Quebec on the other hand needs this win in their pursuit of securing home-field.
Quebec takes this game 35-6

Halifax Fighting Irish(5) at Hamilton Lightning(6)
The 2 previous weeks has been very different fr these 2 teams. Halifax has had 2 easy wins against weaker teams, and Hamilton has lost 2 games against the undefeated Winnipeg and Purvirnituq. Currently #5 and #6, theyre both battling to clinch a play-off spot and chasing that homefield granting 4th spot. Hamilton takes advantage of the Irish' chemestry, winning 27-20

Yellowknife Rented Mules at Lancaster Hunstlas(7)
Lancaster is hoping for a comfortable win, as that would be a big step towards securing their play-off spot. The Mules seem to be planning 2 seasons ahead, but are at high spirit regardless. Lancaster gets their win, 51-16

Lincoln Lucky(8) at Niagara Assassins(9)
Another super game here folks. Both teams are 5-6 and are fighting hard to get that last spot in the play-off's. None of these teams can afford to loose, so the mental game will be extra important. The Assassins have the edge here pulling a 23-10 win.

Nova Scotia Snakes at S.W.O. Swamp Donkeys
Only honor on the line in this game, as two of the bottom teams clashes. N.S. wins 27-21

Sacramento Terror at Canadian Military
This game will likely be followed by many, even tho the teams are #16 and #15 respectively. The reason is that neither of these teams have won yet this season, and so, the fans that remain for both teams are eyeing that elusive win. The play will be terrible, the errors abundant. But in the end, the Canadian Military gets a 24-10 win

WEST: (will add later)

If this was during hte week and I had 100 hours at work to work on it I would actually do a pre-game analysis of the damn Puvi vs Winn game, as it is the game of the year

Sorry Puvi, <3 you guys but gotta root for Winnipeg on this one, just cuz it gives us a shot at #2 seed

Here are my predictions (and I actually have enough time to do it like I used too):

Port Moody Megalodon vs Arctic Cricle Jerks - Port Moody has won 8 in a row and is all alone atop of the West with the only team with 1 loss. The Jerks are just the opposite. They sit in 16th place (only because there is nothing lower) but have score 14 point each game against the two Saskatchewan teams even though they got crushed in both games. Port Moody get a bad case of diarrhea, their buss breaks down on the way to Arctic Cricle and have to walk the last 15 miles there and their uniforms never show up and they have to play in bibs the bought just before game time at Wal-Mart. Nothing going right for Port Moody except the score. They win 77 - 0.

Bologna Towers vs Listowel Huskies - The owner of the Towers is thinking of changing the name to Spam Towers since nobody likes spam and their fans are picketing each home game. The Huskies got a huge win against the Indians last week and can secure at least 2nd seed in the playoffs if they win out. Lucky for the Towers, they do not play at home so no picket signs from his fans this week. Unlucky for the Towers is they play another tough team. The Huskies win this one 44 - 7.

Gaffney Indians vs Thunder Bay Titans - The Indians had their 6 game winning streak snapped by losing a close one to the Huskies. The Titans are out of the playoffs unless the miracle happen and part of that is because of the current 2 game losing streak they are in. Indians have to win to keep that number 4 (and last home) playoff spot secure for another week. The Titans might not be in the playoff picture right now but would love to mess with other teams hopes and dreams of the playoffs. The Indians are the better team on paper and they are the better team on the field for this one. Indians win 33 - 10.

Tradewest Battletoads vs B.K. Thunderbirds - The Battletoads are the hottest team in the West after Port Moody. They are riding a 5 game win streak into Thunderbird country. The Thunderbirds last week stopped their 2 game slide by winning a close one against what used to be the Crush which is now called something more stupid than what Prince once changed his name to. Thunderbirds hit ^^^ when they were in transition. The Battletoads are not in transition and are ready for battle. The Battletoads win this one 40 - 13 and extend their winning streak to 6.

Ogopogo Lake Monsters vs Westwood Bruins - The Monsters are currently sitting in 6th place in the West and would love to move up to at least 4th before the season is over to get a home playoff game. Their 3 game winning streak has them moving in the right direction. The win last week stopped a 3 game slide for the Bruins. They currently sit in 7th place, right behind their opponent Monsters. In a very good game, the Bruins get their 2nd win in a row by beating the Monsters 33 - 27.

Grise Fjord ^^^Kodiaks^^^ vs Québec City Dirtbags - Even though the ^^^ are currently sitting in the last playoff spot, the team is not excited about it. They are in the midst of a 2 game losing streak. Even worse is the front office disaster that occured a couple weeks ago. Their marketing manager was trying to be funny and submitted the nickname "^^^Kodiaks^^^" to the owner for approval. The owner being new and very busy with the move of the team and thought the memo was said "Kodiaks" and approved it. After it was sent into the league for change, did they realize the mistake. Back to the game prediction. The Dirtbags are sitting in 9th and have lost 2 in a row. They need this win to show not only can they play, but they can beat playoff caliber team. This one is a close one that goes into OT and the ^^^ pulls out the victory with a 33 - 30 win. However, it is not enough to save the job of the marketing manager who is fired after the win. The owner would not comment about the petition to the league to have the name changed to the <<< Powder Puffs >>>.

saskatchewan limas vs Saskatchewan Wolf Pack - This is it folks. This is for all the bragging rights in Saskatchewan. The limas (their choice for no capital letter) come into the game with a 1 game losing streak after gettign thrashed by the Battletoads. The Wolf Pack have won their last 2 and 4 of their last 5 games. They also sent a letter to the Mayor of Saskatchewan demanding that they evict the limas from the sitting and send the pour version of a team down to some other town. The Wolf Pack might not be happy about the limas coming into town but they have to be happy about the results of this game. The Wolf Pack win this one 36 - 14. After the game the Mayor released an official statement saying "I thought when I signed the agreement to let the limas come to Saskatchewan, I was signing a womens professional badminton team".

Blitzkrieg Bandits vs Antioch Inferno - The Bandits are fading fast. The lost again last week and have lost 4 out of the last 5 games. The playoffs are not completely gone but the loss last week has made each week a must win game. The Inferno fire is still buring bright after winning their 6th in a row with a massacre of the Rented Mules. Even though the Inferno only has 2 losses and are sitting in 3rd in the conference, they are 2 games behind Puvi and Winnipeg. They have to keep winning in hope to pass one of them and get the second seed. And the Inferno do just that by winning this one 34 - 7.

Quebec Quasars vs Toronto Bobcats - The Quasars are not ablaze like the Inferno but they are not far behind them. They have won 3 in a row and 7 of the last 8. The only loss in that streak was to the Inferno and it was by 2 points. Even though the Bobcats won their game last week, they are still only 3-8 overall for the season and not in the playoff hunt. They do welcome the role as spoiler for other playoff contenders. The only thing spoiled today is the home fans wasted time coming to the game. The Quasars keep pace with the Infernos by winning 45 - 6.

Halifax Fighting Irish vs Hamilton Lightning - The Irish have won their last 2 games by shuting out the opponents. Of course they played 2 of the worse offensive teams in the league. The Lightning have lost their last 2 games but they were the two last undefeated teams in the league and the last one was a nail biter to Puvi that they think they should of won. Should of won does not help the record for conference playoff positioning. Normally this would be the game of the week for the East but no reporters come to cover this game. Not even the Hamilton High School Gazette. All because of another game happening in another part of Canada but more on that later. The Irish do not need witnesses to see that they beat the Lightning 30 - 29 with a last second FG.

Yellowknife Rented Mules vs Lancaster Hustlas - The Rented Mules should change their name to Rented Victory. They have lost 6 straight and their players are making plans to watch the playoffs again this year. The Hustlas have a 2 game win streak going but only sit in the 7th spot of the playoff picture. They know they need more wins to be assured of a playoff spot. The Rented Mules are the perfect opponent when you need a good victory and the Hustlas move their win streak to 3 games by beating the Mules 50 - 7.

Lincoln Lucky - Niagara Assassins - Both teams have a 5-6 record but only Lucky has the 8th and final playoff spot for now. Both teams know that a win today, would not only help their teams chance of making the playoffs, but hurt the other team at the same time. The Lucky come into the game with a 1 game win streak. The Assassins are at home but have a 1 game losing streak that was caused by the Quasars who beat them by 6 points. Another great game that nobody came to see. The Assassins defend their home turf by winning this one 30 - 24.

Nova Scotia Snakes vs S.W.O. Swamp Donkeys - The Snakes and Donkeys are two animals that are not going to the playoffs this year. I would like to call this the Asp and Ass matchup. The Asp have a 2 game losing streak when they come into town. The Ass also have a 2 game losing streak. One of these lucky teams get a chance to stop that streak. This one belongs to the Asp as they beat the Ass 27 - 10.

Sacramento Terror vs Canadian Military - This is it folks, the game that everyone has been waiting for all season long. This game is for the ultimate title. Who is the worse team in the East. The Terror come into town with losing everything they have come up against this season. They do it with such style that they have yet to score a point. But hold on to your hats people. The Military also have lost everything possible this season. They too have not scored a single point all season. Something has to give in this game. Somebody is going to get their first win of the season. I give the edge to the Military on this one. They will win it 36 - 13. But congrats to both teams for scoring their first points of the season in game 12.

There you go folks, another week of my predictions. Everything game that means anything (except my own) is not only predicted but set in stone. Nothing else should matter to anyone else except for the games that I did.

What....you said I forgot one. You mean there is another game that means something to our league. You saying that people want to know what I think about the Puvi and Winni matchup. I guess if you look at it a certain way, it could mean something to somebody . So without further ado, my prediction on the biggest matchup of the year (so far):

Winnipeg Wolves vs Puvirnituq Musketeers - I could say nothing about this game and it would still be the biggest hyped game so far this year. The last 2 undefeated/untied teams left in the entire conference. The winner of this one will not only be last undefeated team in the league but also probably be the number 1 seed in the East for the playoffs. I am not just talking about next week but after week 16, the winner should be the number 1 team. It will be hard pressed to see the winner lose 2 more this year. Of course after an epic battle, who knows what kind of let down the winner might have. The Wolves come into this game with only 2 games that was decided by 7 points or less. The Puvi are at home but they had 3 games that was decided by 7 points or less. I said it before that Puvi has something special that gets them a victory every week. Of course the Wolves have something to stay undefeated this long too. I heard it is cheaper to rent an airplane to fly you around the stadium to watch the game than to buy a ticket from a scalper. ESPN Chris Berman is doing the color announcing and having players from Winnipeg be called "Over Da Fence", "On The Good Ship Lolly Pop" and "I Can Kick You In The Junk". Of course he had to have a few for the Puvi such as "C.D. After Burner", "Kevin The Bank Branch", "Bubba Campbell...Um, Um, Good" and "Double Deuce Beat A Ace High". This game goes back and forth and the winner wins it 27 - 21. Who is the winner you ask? The one with the most points which is the Wolves.

Wow, lot of work done there folks. Over 2 1/2 hours to do this. I need a life . Good luck everyone this week. Just remember, I only pick them as I see them. I am not perfect with my predictions but I am 80% right with them. Did I get your game right?

Very nice picks.

I would say that this game worries me, but being a Muskie, I'm not worried. Ever. We're going to win.

Also with the 3 games decided by 7 points or less vs. 2, we played Blitzkrieg when they were good and they just played them last week, so really it's 2-2.

I realized that but the truth is you had 3 games and they had 2. I did not go into the detail of the competition for each game. I could of said that they beat the next hottest team in the East (Quasars) and you have not played them yet. I could of went another hour giving more and more information that would of put everybody to sleep. I just put that out there for some more drama to the pick.

Going to be a great game and I wish you both the best. Too bad it was not the last conference game to decide it. Would of been extra sweet then.
