ALPHA
Portsmouth Computers vs. Buckingham Wild Boars
So The Pigs Vs The PC’s, will the Pigs be able to do what the Tigers did last week and blow off….eerrr…out the PC’s, the Tigers managed 112 unanswered points and no doubt thepigmarcher et al over at the pigs will be hoping to emulate the Tigers roaring success! So heres a tip for you guys, go to the air, the Tigers managed 803yrds in the air last week and with the receiving core at the Pigs I think you’ll be able to do something similar, sorry PC’s, Pigs by 70.

Frankfurt Sentinals vs. London Avengers
The Sentinals have had a great start to the season, currently standing 9-1 behind the Minotaurs and I don’t think anyone will expect that run to come to an end today. The sentinels have the 2nd best rush defence in the league behind those damn Hippos and the Avengers haven’t got a good enough passing game to be able to rely on it solely. The Avengers allow over 120yrds a game on the ground and that will be surpassed today as I think they’ll struggle to contain the double headed dragon of Jeremy Johnson & Sludge Hammer. Sentinals by 14.

Team Liquid vs. Omaha Beach Blackshirts
Team Liquids passing attack vs…The Simpsons…not much competition really, Team Liquid are 2nd in passing yrds in league behind Husavik, The Simpsons have a … mediocre passing D and will struggle to contain QB Drew Stanton who leads the league in passing yards. Fish Ball is one of the better WR’s in the league although he does lead the league in dropped catches so you just never know (Kidding Fish!!). Liquid by 24

Paris Dream Bolts vs. Christiania Tigers
PDB Vs The Tigers…game of the week in Alpha I think it’s safe to say! PDB seem to have struggled against almost everybody, but always manage to scrap a win (except those 2 times when they didn’t). The Tigers on the other hand are coming off the back of that hammering of the PC’s and have one of the more balanced offences in the game, QB Dale Xavier & HB Taylor Canton spearhead the air & ground attacks with some success most weeks and I don’t see it being any different this time around. Tigers by 10

Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Eindhoven Eagles
The storm managed to clock up over 100 points against Frankfurt by rushing up their gut, The Eagles are primarily a passing team, so they either give HB’s Billy & Hannah the chance to pad their stats or continue with the passing game and only manage to win by 50, it’s anyone guess but they’ll win…easily!

Brussels Massacre vs. Paris Gloutons
The Glutons are an excellent passing team QB Helyemin Ptitloup features in most league tables, even if he does have a name I’m not even going to attempt to pronounce. The massacre have struggled to 3-7 and I think that downward trend will continue, Glutons by 7

Little Italy Goodfellas vs. Berlin Storm
The German Winds had a fantastic victory last week against the rubbish Frankfurt team, only their 3rd of the season, the Mafia have flattered to deceive, beating teams they should and losing to teams they should have beat…although they have also lost to teams they should have lost to…(Forgive me it’s early on a Saturday morning I should still be in bed), in short…Berlin by 7.

NFLUK Manchester Fire vs. Copenhagen Cougars
Fire by alot

Hamburg Firestorm vs. Hamburg Lightning
Firestorm vs Lightning, will be an interesting one, Firestorm have been on fire …haha on fire…sorry…this season and have beaten some excellent teams. Lightning are a good team QB Shane "The Replacement" Falco performs well season on season and HB Guillaume Milinkiewicz would not look out of place on any team in AA, but they always seem to fall short. My Prediction…Hamburg will win!

Berlin Spartans vs. Permian Panthers
I want to say Panthers by a lot but with no human QB and inactivity that would make the Crotone owner blush I just can’t see past the German Spartans (should be GREEK!!!)! Berlin by 7

NFLUK Dover Vikings vs. London Bridges
The Vikings suffered only their 2nd defeat of the season last week against the Hippos and didn’t like it, QB Nick Morton wants his place back on top of the Passing yrds table and HB Hoof Hearted doesn’t like being so low in the rushing yrds table. The Vikings have the best passing D in the league (thanks to DC YoungJP90) and the Bridges have only rushed for 1121yrds this season. Vikings by 14

Húsavík Whalers vs. Venice Romantics
The Husavik of old were a run first ask questions later sort of team, the new Husavik however are quite the opposite, they lead the league in passing yrds by over 1000yrds, their QB James Keltner is 3rd & 5th in the league passing yrds & TD’s tables, with legendary WR AllYouGonnaSee IsTheBackOfMyHead Top of the WR tables. But if you thought that was all of Husavik you’d be wrong, HB Jamie “Thunder” Harper also leads the league in rushing TD’s! They’re a tough team to stop and as organised as the Romantics are I think they will struggle to contain the Husavik Offence. However, if you are looking for an aggressive containing D, Venice are the team, with 39 sacks & 54 hurries this season they are no walkover and Husavik will have to be at their best, but I think they will be, Whalers by 3

Achei Crotone vs. Madrid Spartans
Even if their owner is ghost Crotone will have no problems with this one, Achei by…50

Lyon Demons vs. Lyon Hippos
Ooooh Demons Vs Hippos, the battle of Lyon (was actually a battle fought in 197AD between the Roman army & a group of Roman usurpers!!). Having witnessed the power of the Hippos running game first hand I struggle to see how the Demons will cope. Although the Demons possess their own monster running game, will the Hippos be able to contain that? Yes I think so, Lyon will win this…comfortably!

Atlanta Conchords vs. Arlanda Cheetahs
Planes Vs. Cats…who will win…well if you threw a cat at a plane I would say the plane would win, but these are no jumbo jets and the cheetahs are smarter than your average cat…the Conchords have one of the best passing games in the league and I think the cheetahs will struggle to cope, so the plane will win here too!! Conchords by 14

Great results for both the demons & pigs, very impressive, well done!!

Quite disappointed that we only managed 675 passing yards , but some of that is due to a few too many drops and my insistence on still trying to run a bit.

Once again, both division leaders loose their unbeated record in the same week. If i did not know better, I swear that I would think the game does it on purpose lol

I am dissapointed we only beat the Cougars by 61. Our lack of depth and the fact that some players played on normal to try and lessen the stain on energy. A win is a win though and Deuce Mac and Gage do it again.

Well we might have struggled to contain the very good Husavik Offense, but when they can't stop ours, it doesn't really matter much does it. *kiss kiss*

Yeah ironic how a male character anchors your attack.

A girl has to do what she has to do to win. I knew right away I had to bring in some players to compete in this league. Next season, I'll actually be half men/half women as my boyfriend is selling his team and bringing his players over.

Thanks man. Alot of offense in that game. In your defense, we have made quite a few big additions in the past couple weeks. I'm sure we will have some serious battles in the future.

Edit to add that the 3 fumbles certainly were the difference in this game. Without those, this would have been a nail biter.
