No music themes today, back to the basics

1. Carolina Hammer 10-0 Last week = 1
There is a lot of chatter on the wire about a potential championship meeting between the Hammers and the newly named Indianola Legends. Well, before that can happen, they have to win 3 games when they count. I don't see anything slowing them down as they make there way though.

2. Dogg Pound 8-2 Last week = 2
With the sound beating the Dogg Pound gave the Steel-Heads, they gain a slight microscopic edge over the 9-1 Rock Star. Rock Star might not like that but each week gets closer to the playoff and the real chance to prove where you belong.

3. Rock Stars 9-1 Last week = 2
Cake games don't do much but raise stats. You should be focusing on a way to keep the Hammers out of the Championship. See other comment in the Dogg Pound ranking above.

4. DC Warriors 8-2 Last week = 6
Veteran play allowed for the D.C. Warriors to return to there winning ways. But, boy did it throw a monkey wrench into the rankings for this week. The only rhyme or reason for the 4-7 rankings is the winner goes before the loser, with D.C. getting the higher ranking than Care Bears. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. I know the Care Bears beat them on the field but overall this is a POWER ranking.

5. Eleven Wise Monkeys 8-2 Last week = 4
The BBB magic failed them as they suffered their 2nd lose. See D.C. Comment for explanation of ranking.

6. Care Bears 7-3 Last week = 7
Did my Care Bear Countdown song inspire you to beat the Hall of Famers???
See D.C. Comment for explanation of ranking.

7. Canton Hall of Famers 8-2 Last week = 5
The rising champions of the BBB have won some games, but haven't really shown anything too impressive yet. They better figure out how to as they face another tough team in the Warriors. See D.C. Comment for explanation of ranking.

8. Colorado Storm 5-5 Last week = 9
Well, Well, Well. What do we have here? Looks like someones doing what it takes to move back into the top 8 of the conference. Stay the course and you get a first round playoff date with the Hammer.

9. Oregon Ducks 4-6 Last week = 10
Yes, they are ahead of the Steel-Head for one reason and one reason only. They are playing better football.

10. NY Steel-heads 5-5 Last week = 8
With the toughest part of there schedule coming, I think we can stick a fork in them and almost call them done. Oh how the mighty have fallen. You might have to ask Colorado how to recover from the fall.

11. French Lick Dirty Whorns 3-7 Last week = 11
"Get me off this roller-coaster." That is one way to put the Whorns season this time around. The only reason they are ranked 11th is because the are better than the worst.

12. Compton 'Nilla Wafers 1-9 Last week = 12
Still in 12th after the Ducks took us to town only because we haven't played the Whorns yet and don't know how we stand up against them. Looks like it will be another thumping to come this week before we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

13. Columbus Spartans 1-9 Last week = 13
Yes, we won! Yes, we finally one a game. No bottom of the cellar time for you.

14. Cleveland Greyhounds 1-9 Last week = 14
Uggh, the Hounds are destined to win 2 games this season. An improvement? Maybe.

15. Baltimore Blood Ravens 0-10 Last week = 15
I think you guys can win one game this season. Maybe.

16. West Bend Warlocks 2-8 Last week = 16
Is it possible to end up with 2 wins and still be the worst team here?

...and there it is. More fodder to flame. Where's the paper bag at?

Awesome work, as always sir!

While it's nice to be undefeated so far, I'm somewhat concerned about our(Hammer) playoff play. It seems to me that we don't turn it during the playoffs. This season should be different.
