The Farkistan Squirrels are going to enact "Operation Maybe Next Season" starting with their next game. After losing many heartbreaking games in the final minutes or overtime, and missing many games of gameplanning due to CyberNations war... we've finally given up on the season. It is just not our year. We knew our season had taken a turn for the worst when we lost to a team that was beaten by nearly 80 points by a team we beat.

So, expect to see unfamiliar faces out there on the field for the remaining games. Our backups who have waited so diligently for their time to shine will now be given the opportunity to come up and prove themselves. We hope that by allowing our backups to catch up in levels, we should be a more competitive team in the upcoming season. In addition, we hope to use this time to develop a more effective offensive and defensive gameplan.

Best of luck to the rest of teams in the division on the playoff hunt. We hope that by taking this time off, we can provide a more consistent competitor for you all next season.

Hey good luck next season man! I know my team is glad as hell that we don't have to face a full power Fark squad

Why not use the remaining games to try things out that you normally would be hesitant in doing? Different settings in the advanced AI, things of that nature. You might find something that works. It would be a lot better than just throwing in the towel and quitting the season.

I didn't say we're quitting the season... I'm just putting in the backups and acknowledging that we've missed too many opportunities to make the playoffs this year.

I'm definitely going to use the time to try out new things, of course that will happen. But I also want to try to catch up our backups instead of keeping them on the back burner because we're trying to make a playoff push.

Sometimes, you just have to acknowledge when it's not your season and spend the rest of that season seeing what will work and planning for the future.
