Just to be a d!ick (because I still have to play you guys and don't want you to get it back ), but If I made a trade on day 1 for cash, iand then I look at my finances, I get my cash on day 2 not day 1. It's always been this way and everyone ignoring that yesterday just learned their lesson. I'll bet you won't make that mistake again.
I actually made a deadline deal last season and specifically remember underdtanding that the 17th day was the REAL last day before the double chem hits.

I understand it, just wish it was documented that way...and the fact that the trade deadline works the opposite way makes it confusing...
Well, I guess that Bort does not consider the day of the trade acceptance as the day of the trade. He considers the day that the transaction is processed. Does kinda suck b/c he usually would state something like this to make it clear.

..but the trade deadline is different, as trades are processed on the rollover from day 24 to 25...
The trade deadline is different otherwise there would be no reason to have a double chemistry hit period, b/c you couldn't trade. Mid-season is reasonable for the extra penalty.

Bort came on today and corrected the chemistry issue...double chem hits were reversed to normal chem for day 18, rollover to day 19 processing...
There has been a lot of confusion regarding the chemistry, and I do apologize for that. What happened is that the the trade was finalized on day 19 (which I'm sure you know), resulting in the double chemistry hit. However, chemistry is one of those things that I think is VERY over rated, and really doesn't have as much impact on how your players perform as most people think it does. The absolute worst chemistry, in GLB that is 10, results in a loss of player performance of no more than 9%. That means, a team with rock bottom chemistry still has players performing at at least 91% of their ability. In your situation, if your players are affected at all, it won't be by more than about one percent. There may be no change in that player at all!
Wow, I think admin is full of it. Think about it, you have two very good teams playing eachother, and one team has 90 chemistry and the other has 25. Pretty much every time the 90 is going to win, we have seen it to many times to not believe it. If it is just a small affect, it is enough to swing close games.
