Good game....but your last line comes off as cocky/arrogant/condescending.

"Claim we lost to the best?" It's a scrimmage invitational with no real implications of anything, it's not like anyone's going to ask us who we lost to a couple weeks down the road and we'll say "We lost to the best." I don't think anyone cares that much about it.

Considering I didn't even bother to scout your team, have no idea which set of tactics I have loaded for the game against you and have been testing some things throughout our scrimmages I really don't give a shit about this poorly run tournament. They never even posted a bracket, I just got a PM telling me who to challenge to a friendly. So yes, congrats on a pulling off the upset.

I do find it HILARIOUS that all of a sudden the team that wanted to have friendlies against Montreal for the remainder of the season is now arguing that a friendly was meaningless. Guess they really got pwned.

actually, thank you for beating us like that, it woke me up to the shortcomings of the 3-4 and gave me some motivation to crack out a new AI for our first game against a Prince George's Kings team that outleveled us...we shut them out. In fact, with the exception of the Bort's Wrath debacle, we haven't had a game in two seasons that we didn't win by double digits. Granted, I will admit our conference was definitely weaker at the top and we didn't play Moose Jaw. I also admit that you guys would be a great game, as would Montreal or Sactown or possibly a few other teams. I actually expect a tough game today by Northern Lights and then we have Nike and Moose Jaw early next week. I don't expect to be undefeated at this time next week, but that doesn't even matter...I don't care that you lost a meaningless interleague scrimmage. Just like pre-season, they mean nothing. Your team is the one that was demanding a scrimmage from Montreal over and over again. If you don't find the humor in that, than I'm sorry.

Sounds like Mathias is a Colgate user, too! Say goodbye to plaque!

I just think it is funny that the team that trash talked the MOST last season, who came off as arrogant and cocky, is now a little bothered by it and making excuses? You didn't strike me as hypocrites.
