EAST:

Blitzkrieg Bandits(9) at Winnipeg Wolves(1)
Winnipeg showed that they deserve their #1 spot in the east by completely mauling Hamilton. Blitzkrieg got their first win under the new owner, beating Yellow Knife in a close game. But beating Yellow Knife and taking on the Wolves are two very different things, as the Bandits will soon learn. Winnipeg overpowers Blitzkrieg with a 60-10 win.

Hamilton Lightning(5) at Puvirnituq Musketeers(2)
Its a rough time for the Hamilton boys. They got beat hard by the Wolves last week, and this week they face the other undefeated team. Not only that, but the Musketeers are well rested after an easy 75-0 win against the Canadian Military, and wont give anything away while Winnipeg still holds that #1 spot that the Musketeers so desperately want. Hamilton looses again this week, but has learnt from the Wolves game, and wont be blown out again. 27-16 win for the Muskies.

Niagara Assassins(8) at Quebec Quasars(4)
Great game in store here, as 2 very hot teams face each other. Niagara has battled up hill to claim a play-off spot, while Quebec is looking to ensure home field advantage in 1st round of the play-offs by holding on to the #4 spot. This wont be a pretty match, but the intensity will be through the roof. This is anyones game, but the Quasars pull away late in the game, winning 23-17.

Canadian Military(15) at Halifax Fighting Irish(6)
Halifax destroyed the Bobcats last week, showing once and for all that Toronto's place in the table is fitting. Canadian Military are still winless, and cant be expected to put up much of a fight. Halifax has their minds on next weeks game already, and this is the reason they only win 82-3.

Lancaster Hustlas(7) at Nova Scotia Snakes(11)
Lancaster is back on track. Even tho they have lost 2 of the last 4 games, their performance have been good, and both losses was very close and to other of the top teams. Nova Scotia seems to have given up on this season, and the morale seems to be at an all time low. Lancaster could care less about the mental state of the NS players tho, and hit them hard, winning 27-13.

S.W.O. Swamp Donkeys(12) at Lincoln Lucky(10)
Two teams hoping to snatch that last play-off spot with a good finish. This has to happen now tho, and the loser of this game can almost surely wave the last play-off hopes goodbye. Alot on the line here, and this will be a nervous game, with the mentally strongest team getting the victory. This week thats Lincoln, and while the Donkeys can start looking to next season, the Lucky's might still have a chance. A Lucky win, 23-10.

Toronto Bobcats(14) at Sacramento Terror(16)
This seems to be the best chance Toronto has of getting another win this season. Winning this wont give any respect in the league, but at least it will remove their lossing streak, and Toronto fans hope that this will be a turning point, and the first of a series of wins. Sacramento suffers yet another defeat, with the Bobcats winning 51-6

WEST:

Port Moody Megalodon(1) at Thunder Bay Titans(12)
PMM had a close game against the Huskies last week, but turned up the heat late in the game and got the win. Thunder bay on the other hand suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of the Wolf Pack from Saskatchewan, denying them contact with the play-off teams. Even with home field advantage, the Titans must be worried about how to stop a PMM team looking stronger than ever. This wont be the week where Port Moody suffer their 2nd defeat, as they take this game 37-9

Gaffney Indians(2) at Listowel Huskies(3)
For the 2nd week in a row, the Huskies are playing in the game of the week. Gaffney continued their winning streak, beating the Bruins, while Listowel lost the top game against PMM. This looks to be a close game where the home field advantage could play a decisive factor. It will take overtime to decide this one, with the Indians winning 30-27 on an early OT FG.

Laval Lumberjacks(4) at Québec City Dirtbags(8)
Laval got back on track against the Thunderbirds after their 1 pt loss against Tradewest. Quebec is a bit in the gutter, after a close loss in a crucial game against the Lake Monsters. Quebec comes out like thunder and lightning to get an early lead, but the Lumberjacks wear them out, taking control of things in the 2nd half. Laval cuts down Quebec, winning 28-13.

Tradewest Battletoads(5) at Saskatchewan limas(13)
Tradewest is one of the hottest teams in the west at this time, and have won their last 4 games, incl games against Laval and Ogopogo. The Saskatchewan limas just relocated from Toronto, and shed themselves of their Raptor mascot. They celebrated this with a 48-14 win against the Arctic Cricle Jerks. Lets hope they arent too hung over from all the celebrating, because Tradewest is intent on continuing their streak. And thats just what they do, beating the limas 30-10

B.K. Thunderbirds(14) at Grise Fjord ^^^Kodiaks^^^(6)
Another newly relocated team, the ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Kodiaks^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^, travel to Möbus Stadium to face the Thunderbirds. The Birds have only won 2 games this year, both against slow building teams, and this looks to be a relatively easy win for the ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Kodiaks^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^. Cluttering the scoreboard with wierd symbols next to their name seems to work, as Grise Fjord wins 45-10.

Memphis Maulers(9) at Ogopogo Lake Monsters(7)
Another promising game here, as Memphis and Ogopogo face off in a match to consolidate their play-off spots. Memphis arent a push-around, but the Lake Monsters have shown great strength these past weeks. This one will come down to field possession, and the Monsters simply prove to strong here. Ogopogo wins 31-23

Westwood Bruins(10) at Bologna Towers(15)
Bologna has a 23 game loosing streak, witch is unmatched in the entire league. The Bruins will take advantage of this opportunity to break their negative streak, while the Towers plunge deeper into the abyss. Westwood wins 65-3

Arctic Cricle Jerks(16) at Saskatchewan Wolf Pack(11)
Like the Towers, the Circle Jerks' motto seems to be "Its not about winning, but about participating and trying your best". If the Wolf Pack wins this game, they will gain contact to the teams holding the last play-off spots, and with this in mind they should be fired up and ready. Enjoy the bye week Saskatchewan. Wolf Pack wins 72-3

You should just go ahead and do the predictions for the rest of Puvi's season. Wins all the way across.

Yea, probably the hardest game to predict, but went with a close win for Gaffney because they have proved themselves in more hard games so far (And partly because footballsok got so butt hurt over my last prediction ). Can go either way tho, and im not at all sure about it. Only sure thing is that it will be one hell of an intense game

And who let Six out of the basement? :I

Yeah I see the reasons behind it. I just hope we can prove you wrong. But I'm not the one to be all into smacktalk. I just am looking forward to a great game.

And yes footballsok is probably are most enerjetic player. He loves to boast.

I have do not have a lot of time and since Minaras did a great job of predicting, I will just do the scores. I will tell you now that I will not predict a OT tie this time (even though last week I was under 1 minute away from being right)

EAST:

Blitzkrieg Bandits at Winnipeg Wolves - Wolves wins 60 - 10

Hamilton Lightning at Puvirnituq Musketeers - Puvi wins 34 - 24

Niagara Assassins at Quebec Quasars - Quasars wins in OT 27 - 24

Canadian Military at Halifax Fighting Irish - Irish wins 77 - 0

Lancaster Hustlas at Nova Scotia Snakes - Hustlas wins 24 - 10

S.W.O. Swamp Donkeys at Lincoln Lucky - Lucky wins 45 - 17

Toronto Bobcats at Sacramento Terror - Bobcats win 64 - 0

WEST:

Port Moody Megalodon at Thunder Bay Titans - Port Moody wins 40 - 10

Gaffney Indians at Listowel Huskies - Game of the week that Huskies win in OT 24 - 21

Laval Lumberjacks at Québec City Dirtbags - No Prediction

Tradewest Battletoads at Saskatchewan limas - Battletoads wins 33 - 17

B.K. Thunderbirds at Grise Fjord ^^^Kodiaks^^^ - ^^^ wins this one 30 - 14

Memphis Maulers at Ogopogo Lake Monsters - Monsters wins 45 - 30

Westwood Bruins at Bologna Towers - Bruins wins 27 - 14

Arctic Cricle Jerks at Saskatchewan Wolf Pack - Wolf Pack wins 50 - 0

And since Minaras did not do his game (a sign of class) I will do his game with my usual (or is the unusual) style.

Antioch Inferno vs Yellowknife Rented Mules - The Inferno is on fire with a 5 game winning streak. The Yellowknife are the opposite. They are on the 5 game losing streak. I would love the only game I do like this to be close. The Yellowknife's fan wish it was too. The Inferno stay scortching hot by whipping on the Mules 77 - 0.

hope you are right about the Muskies beating Hamilton-- I think it'll be a close game and our first test in awhile, especially leading into Winnipeg the week after that

Good job on these. Ogopogo pulled off a huge upset (IMO) over Quebec and now we're in a spot where the playoffs are realistic. I agree with the predictions this week.

I dont think Vancouver will win 45-10, but very nice write-up.
Probably will be closer to Dawgs prediction of 34-10 since our guys are not very well rested and will have to play some on normal and relaxed.
