Wish I had more time to do this week's awesome games, but alas, these will be a bit of a rush.
GOTW 1*Gold Coast Corsairs 8-1 @ Russian Tractor 7-2
Arguably the top two teams in the conference face off here today. They both have extremely balanced offenses and defenses. They are #1 and #2 in scoring offense with a 9 point cushion on the rest of the league. They also have the #1 and #3 scoring defense with the Tractor being #1 in both. GC brings the 4th ranked passing offense and the 3rd ranked rushing offense. Tractor bring the 10th rated passing offense and the 2nd ranked rushing offense. They both have stellar defense too. They are #2 and #3 in QB pressures (hurries+sacks). The biggest difference I can find is on the OLine where the Tractor have about a 100 pancake lead and have only allowed 3 sacks on the season (all to my Beavers!). What does it all mean? Tractor seem to be hitting their late season stride and the Corsairs look to rebound from the big upset at the hands of the Jinx. This should be a great game and LAX could find themselves atop the league after this game.

GOTW 2*Los Angeles eXtreme 8-1 @ Morocco Camels 6-3
What happened to the Camels? Maybe they rehired daking do GM again? Either way the eXtreme have withstood a tough stretch against the Saints, Jinx, Beavers and Malice and look to cruise through their second half of the season after the Bees until they meet the Tractor in what could be a battle for the #1 playoff seed. You can't sleep on all that the Camels bring to the table, but I just don't think they have it this season.
eXtreme 30 Camels 17
San Dimas Saints 6-2 @ Mogadishu Malice 5-4
Malice look to build on a great season so far with a HUGE upset. The Saints look to continue on their fantastic season that has them firmly supplanted in a home playoff spot. Saints are just too much for the Malice here as they try to cling to playoff hopes in the second half of the season.
Saints 31 Malice 13
Chicago Wheelhouse 1-8 @ African Killer Bees 6-3
The Bees have taken care of business lately and I don't expect that to change. They have a huge stretch to end the season and could either completely miss the playoffs or make a late charge. I think the conference is so tight, it will be hard to predict...this game, however, is not.
Bees 41 Wheelhouse 10
GOTW 3*River Styx Jinx 5-4 @ Eaton Beavers 6-3
Two teams that have played almost identical schedules so far with the exception that the Jinx just snuck by the Corsairs and the Beavers play them next. They have won/lost all the same games except Mozambique, but the Jinx continue to be that team that no one wants to play as GC found out. I think we are ready for this game as we try to pull ourselves out of a two game slide. Good luck Jinx!
Mozambique Thundercats 4-5 @ Congo Death 3-6
Last hopes for a playoff spot start here for these two teams. Both of these teams have upsets over probably playoff bound teams and losses to probably homeward bound teams. They are the depth that makes this conference so tough and they face off in an elimination type game here. Last season Mozambique edged them 23-17, but the game wasn't that close. Look for a repeat performance.
Thundercats 27 Death 17
Cannibals-Drifters
Drifters should have no problem here, though I loss would all but guarantee relegation.
Drifters 41 Cannibals 3
Blazes-Wildcats
Both disappointed with their season, fight for pride here.
