Well I know that it is not normal for another conference guy to do a write up on another conference but was requested and I will do the first ever Solo spot check on the lion conf. So I hope nobody takes this to hear just a spot check of the lion and going by the GLB standings.
1. Windhoek White Rhinos With an 8-0-1 record they have a really big matchup with the Morning Wood Seems like some stiff competion( no pun intended) But this could shape the lion confernce with the match of this game.
2. Tanzanian Morning Wood at 8-1 have the chance to shape the out look of the lion side if they can pull off the upset they could grab the number 1 spot so this game has big time story lines to it.
3. Valla Beach Woolshed 7-2 Must have a big game against the Mambas to have the hopes of making things interesting for the play off picture.
4. Mombasa Spears 7-2 Must have big big game like Woolshed as this may be the second most interesting game in the lion conf. So this could be calles seperation Thursday.
5. Cape Verde Kings 6-2-1 The only team to take the White Rhinos to limit still has the chance to keep in the homefield mix with the way games play out today.
6.Zambia Lions 6-2 Anothe team that holds the cards in their hands to for homefield things on this side have away of working out the fake and the real.
7. Niger Mambas 5-4 tring to keep playoffs alive they most keep the wining coming and in this conference that is no small task.
8. Buckeye Nation 5-4 they seem to have had a rough atart but can make ground this week with a win and a few other factors that could play out Thursday.
9-10.Cape Town Billievers 4-5 Must keep believing and playng hard if they want to sneek into the playoffs.
Kalihari Vikings 4-5 also setting on the fence and in striking distance of the playoffs.
11-14. Oum-Chalouba Zebras 3-6, Zamunda Prince Akeem Joffey 3-6, are both just playing for respect and tweaking things for next season to see what needs to be done to compete with the big dogs. Followed by Burundi Scorpions 2-7, Calumet Hitmen Cartel 2-7
15. Nairobi Warthogs 1-8-0 L3
16. Madagascar Mobsters 0-9-0 L25 With that said who will be the team moving next season???
